Meso. My home, my love. What up guys. I just wanted to say hello again after Ive been off here, and been slacking in my training/diet in general. A little backdrop... after I found meso, I felt part of a community of solid dudes that actually help brothers in arms out. I learned alot and met alot of great people here. I love you guys. Anyway, fast forward a couple months and my life took a turn for the worst... I became depressed, started drinkinonng more, picked up smoking cigarettes. My mindset was terrible, I didn't give a fuck anymore... before you know it, my stamina and endurance took a plunge. I got winded walking upstairs.. gained 20 pounds.. and just gave up... then one day I was scrolling thru meso forums and began to miss the iron. Began to miss feeling strong, fast. Missed the sweat after a sparring session... I knew if I didn't stop this spiral, I will be in a worse place than iam now. It's been two 3 months cigarette free. I'm down 14lbs and got into "old school" strength articles. Training notes from the old schoolers like John Grimek, Louis Abele, and Steve Stanko. These dudes are the truth. I got vigor back, I got my drive. The future is again looking brighter. I just want to thank you meso for being the best community amongst our sport there is.

Welcome back. I wish you would have posted something back when you weren’t feeling well. You’re not the only one. The past 9 months have taken their toll on a lot of people. We all have our ups and downs and we can all support each other. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve said “fuck it, I didn’t get sober to live life like this - I might as well drink again.”

Post up a thread on the old school strength articles. That’s be interesting to read.

Way to pull yourself out of the rut. Stick around it’s good having you here!

Glad you're back and in a better place.
Keep on kickin ass. When life is getting you down, reach out to a brother, we all have our struggles.
Also, I too am interested in the articles you've found.

Welcome back, I almost put my foot in my mouth. I thought you were syms alt handle for a second there. Congratulations on getting off the cigs, that's a tough one

Thanks brothers. I feel more focused than ever. Being part of the meso community keeps my mind towards the no shrill into the aas/fitness community. In turn, led me to get into the old-school methods of strength training. I personally started to despise current bodybuilding, so I turned back the clock. To me it's the no shrill of men's fitness, strength and health. These are the true founders. Check out.

Unreal stuff. This guy seems like he put in the work on researching methods and strength of old.

Thanks fellas. Cheers.

op, i feel you bro, i am about to run gear again as well like i been off for a solid 4 years and when i was on, i blasted and cruised for 4 years straight

during this time off, my energy, mood, endurance has been shit, and even though my test levels are in the 400’s, i still don’t feel like myself so i am going to blast and cruise again and see how everything plays out
