Back injury

Over the past week or 2 I've been getting continuous back spasm in my lower back after lifts like squats or dead lifts...


Should i just stop doing those lifts? any suggestions on how to stretch...what muscles to strengthen
 
My suggestion would be to give your back a short break. If you end up doing real damage to your back all your training would be gone. If you can get your hands on some Skelaxin that will help if it's a muscle issue but the most common lower back injury is a slipped disc. I would give it a weeks break then see how it is.
 
I would hold off on those exercises, any sort of movement can inflame that tissue. There are plenty of other exercises to do.

I'd stretch daily, and I'd start going for some massage appts to have them work on your lower back. Going once a week will make a huge difference.
