Bactrim - Long term side effects

To swale or other experienced members.

Was curious if there were any long term side effects I should taken into consideration before attempting to take bactrim for the rest of my life while on HRT.

200/250mg of test EW is enough to have me looking like a mine field and the only thing which has helped to this date has been bactrim. I'm not too keen on doing a cycle of accutane due to the harsh sides.

Thus far, I haven't experienced any side effects other than no new breakouts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So were is your T level at on that kind of dose. I would think a lower dose that has you more in the normal range would take care of the problem.

Have you discussed your concerns with your physician?

Oops, I meant 200/250mg every fortnight.

I've discussed it with my GP but not my endocrinologist.

My GP told me to discuss it with my Endo.

I can't see my specialist for another two months which is why I came here for an educated answer.

My body has always been rather oily and prone to acne. It's for this reason I get it twice as bad on HRT.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
