Barry Bonds - Juicin?

Just saw somehting on CNN that Bonds is being accused of being a Steroid smuggling ring. They said his trainer was offering him something called THD. What the hell is THD? I have never heard of it.

I think its THG.

Is he juicin? Nah, any 40 year old guy can pack on 30-40 pounds of solid muscle in a year or two.

ESPN about a week ago showed a bunch of videos of Bonds. First it showed him during his Pirate days............he was skinny as a rail, skinny legs, skinny arms etc...

Then it showed him currently during his Giant days...........he has massive legs, huge glutes, thick chest, huge arms..........

Is it possible he got to where he currenly is naturally?? Yes. Is it extremely unlikely he got there naturally?? Yes.

Bottom line, I think realistically there is about a 98% chance Bonds is using steroids.

It is very similar chemically to Tren. BUT, different enough that it could not be detected in routine steroid tests. I believe that " they " have created a test to detect THG.

I think he is juicin, but I don't think its fair to say any one "knows" for certain that he is until he is tested and fails. I agree his physique is hard to obtain naturally at 40, but not impossible. Also, of course he is going to be bigger now than when he started, that was over 15 yrs ago. I mean 15 yrs is a long time to train. Noe I'm not saying that he's not juicing, but if he denies I'll take him at his word until someone PROVES otherwise.

Ya think Bonds is on steroids? I don't know dude.... The next thing you will be telling me is that Hulk Hogan, HHH, Jose Canseco and Lyle Alzedo took them. Come on, as Troy Aikman likes to say "Get Real"

Have a nice day

Nah, Bonds can't be juic'n. I mean its totally natural for a guy to hit 70 + homers in his late 30's. Hell Bonds justs says his prayers and takes his vitamins. :D

yeah this is some really sound logic. so why dont all the other allegedly juiced players hit 70?

i have no idea if bonds is on or not, and frankly i dont care. however anyone that has even remotre baseball knowledge knows that bonds didnt just blow up over a one or teo year period. he started getting bigger around 93-94, and has steadily built up to what he is today.

Oh no. A Bonds supporter. Yeah, he's built up everything slowly. HAHAHA. He's a frik'n juicer. just admit it. It's going to look more stupid and funny when he gets caught in his lie.

. . . . .
I think most professional athlete have used (sauce) advanced supplements in their day. If you look at the athletes in this day and age, they are very physcialy advanced. Only so much can be genetics.

That's a stupid argument. Bonds had great bat speed and hand-eye coordination before his "transformation". Afterwords, his bat speed was improved and balls just plain went further. Warning track shots are now into McCovey bay. He's got tons of talent. Juicing doesn't even the playing field, it increases each individual athlete's performance.
You with brass knuckles doesn't mean you can hit as hard as Tyson with brass knuckles.

You have to be able to hit the ball in the first place before improving power will help you.

Any true Bonds fan (following him from Arizona State to Pittsburgh to SF) knows his physical transformation has indeed been gradual.

career stats for Bonds by year/team

IMHO, Barry's performance is a function of 1) tutelage of Bobby Bonds, Willie Mays, 2) expert nutritional support (legal stuff), 3) getting his personal life in order, and 4) good teammates.

In 1990, Barry .248, 19HR, 93SO, 93BB
In 2001, Barry .328, 73HR, 93SO, 177BB

Although he's on the way down now . . . there's little doubt that Barry became a better baseball player. AAS may make BIGGER baseball players but it rarely (if ever) makes BETTER ones.

LOL...yeah bro, it is perfectly natural for a guy that old to put on that much muscle w/o juice :p . Don't you all find it kind of odd that not one single MLB player hit 50 HR's last year? I really liked the interview they had w/ Bonds and him saying that the decrease in HR's last year was due to the baseballs being softer...what a joke. Even Curt Shilling said it was bullshit (Bonds's statement). Have any of you seen Jason Giambi lately??? Heard he looks like a stick. Anyone that doesn't think Bonds/Sosa/Giambi or McGuire were juicing is sorely mistaken. I remember Sosa a couple years back...his face looked like mine did after 4 weeks of dbol at 50mg/ed.

I think it was former NFL QB great Neil Lomax, who first coined the phrase, a picture is worth 1,000 words. Well maybe not....

Anyways not only does he have a different body then before but check out how bloated his face is. Isn't that a symptom of AAS intake? No further questions. I would like to add one final comment, F that A-hole!

Have a nice day

Anyone that says Bonds is where he is today primarily due to juice is fucking stupid as hell. Even without steroids, Bonds would be among the top 4 or 5 players in the game today. With steroids (and I asume he is using), he is in the top two offensively.

Barry Bonds without steroids = might take him 2 to 3 years to get in the hall of fame.

Barry Bonds with steroids = first ballot hall of famer

Barry Bonds is so good it is ridiculous. Managers fear him. Pitchers fear him. The other team's fans fear him. Juice didn't make him this good. Practice, hardwork, dedication and skill made him this good.

Anyone ever notice how sometimes dudes batting helmets stop fitting? All that HGH. LOL Base ball AAS, illegal use, never in a million AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Back in the mid 80's when he was a rookie was a time in baseball where players weren't known much for their conditioning. Since then, there has been more involvement with the trainers and the science of getting conditioned for baseball.

There has been more attention to diet, lifting and exercises over the last 10 years. The salaries keep going up and up for the players and they are working harder on and off the field to get that money and ring! Will they take gear to help them? Yes, some will. But we don't know who they are until they get busted.

Before the 90's baseball players were thought of as fat hotdog eating and beer drinking slobs. In the 90's Barry Could have changed his diet, workout ethics, etc etc. Maybe he didn't hit the weights hard when he was younger or over-trained like many athletes do.

Usually as a rookie, you will get better and better as time goes on. In Mcgwires case, when you hit 49 HR's your first season, there is a sweet chance you will hit 60-70+ HR's further into your career as you get more experience and size/strength.
Some players were hitting 50-60 HR's back in the 20's-30's-40's etc. And they were really unconditioned - plus their playing fields were bigger!

So in the 90's with better knowledge for diet and exercise, plus the addition of the stadium in Colorado where is much easier to hit HR's because of the altitude, anything is possible. And yeas its totally possible that Bonds is / was on juice.

Although, Innocent until proven guilty, I am more of a skeptic towards Bonds with what I have learned about AAS. But who am I to accuse? Anything is possible.

who gives a fuck whether he does or not, its not like so no name piece of shit starts juicing and turns into a all-star baseball player, its just like bodybuilders u have to work ur ass off to get where ur at, it will help them with power ands trength, the probelm i find tho when even running like test i get wicked pumps in my back and arms when im batting/pitching they must be on a REALLY MILD anabolic.......
