Ya' know what Quasi, I think you may be on to something here. I have been hearing about this story all weekend, and it would make sense at this stage of the game. The US and Iraqis are blowing the fuck out of Fallujah right now, and they are on the verge of something big here IMO. Zarqawi's group needs to make one last stand before January, and he is out of options.

You are definitely the conspiracy theorist of the group, but I don't think this is too far off base.

This has been the most important thing in the press since wednesday last week, the media is getting it into everyones concience again, and then we are gonna roll this fucker out . The sheep will follow GWB and bush wins in a land slide . This whole thing is total , i personally e-mailed CNN a ton of links that i kept from July hoping that maybe this story wont get a free pass from the American Media.

Did you read the part of the article that said the last piece of audio they have on this guy is from July 2004 threatening to kill Allawi ? He hasnt released any more audio becuase hes already been arrested.

Yeah, I saw that too.

I have however, seen reports in which the CIA has positively identified his voice on some of the actual video tapes...but who really knows???

Either way, I hope they do have him in custody. I'd be pissed if Bush or anyone for that matter used this to better their political standing, but at least he would be out of the picture.

Q - After the recent events at CBS and ABC (with CBS and Dan Rather being especially pathetic), do you really believe the media will give Bush a free pass on anything? They are making stories up to get rid of Bush.
