Best Diet on Tren

Which would you consider the best way to diet on tren to lose bodyfat and gain muscle

6’ 220 12%bf

Over or Under or maintenance calories?

I am hoping to get to sub 10% and while keeping weight around 220

It’s going to be trial and error brother. Last cycle running tren and test p my daily intake was roughly 300c 350p 75f and I was at a standstill at 215 about 10% bf. Probably could have even pushed a bit more carbs and still would have been lean. Depends on how your training, daily activity with your job and whatnot if it’s sedentary or your on your feet a lot. Idk what your diet is like at the moment. But a good starting point I believe would be 1.5g of carbs and protein per lb and keep your fats low. Check your weight in two weeks and also visually in the mirror and adjust accordingly. Never know til you play with the numbers and see how your body works with higher and lower carbs protein and fats. Also for me personally taking in about 75% of my carbs pre and post workout helped with really shredding down as well.

I'd tell you... the "best" way to go, I would look at in terms of what side effects can you deal with more importantly lol but slightly under on calories seems to be the consensus with people who want to "recomp", what you are describing.

I recommend a Mediterranean diet and doing anything you can to mitigate what sides you receive from the usage of such a marvelous creation. And keep your carbs down to a minimum, just enough so you aren't feeling like shit.. to avoid the heat this summer, and sleep relatively better than you would. You'll thank me when you experience the equivalent of grandma's hot flashes dozens of times in one day if you decide to drink a monster on a hot day, or eat some donuts or pizza with a bunch of tren in your blood.. I had a couple bad days after 5 or so weeks on ace... lol...

Go into a calorie deficit if you’re looking to go sub 10%. Tren shines here. You can maintain muscle and even build when in a deficit on tren. That would be my recommendation.

What's your experience with really cutting down carbs while on Tren? Maybe not go full keto but go really low on carbs.

I’m on week 6 of my first tren run, so my experience is limited, but I’ve been eating at a 200cal deficit last 2 weeks and fat is melting away while strength has increased. I’m around 200c, 350p and 75f. Last 3 weeks starting today I’m dropping carbs to 100g daily pre and post workout only except leg day where i’ll eat 150-200g.

I wouldn’t do keto but I’d throw down carbs pre and post workout, that’s it. Base carbs around the workout, do fats and protein for the rest of the meals.
This--

When i ran tren i went to around 6.9-7.2 bf%, My strength and size remained the same, ate around 100-150max carbs a day. High protein moderate fat.

Without starting a new thread. Is this information here viable or can anyone add more? I’m starting Tren this evening, low dose 210mg for 6 weeks if all goes well. I’ve been told by a few I know that have ran it and they all say try to avoid carbs after lunch time as it interferes with sleep and causes sweats.

IME not all carbs are created equal. I can eat rice all day and night and not have to deal with sweats, but if I start throwing in simple carbs, USUALLY from processed foods, I’ll start getting night sweats

Maybe the whole no carbs after such and such time and night sweats is what has people having trensomnia at a higher rate?
The brain will get hungry and release adrenaline and cortisol to get glucose from muscle tissue.

Probably not even viable, and negligible as long as enough carbs were consumed throughout day.

I decrease night sweats by simply having feet or lower legs uncovered with fan pointed toward them. I still get them anyway, but way less.

Interesting theory

My night sweats are not bad i just sleep like crap. Im eating a pretty clean diet of maintenance or under and i stay away from carbs after lunch. There might be something to the carbs and night sweats. Its funny tho, when i do sweat its right before i wake up not all night or early on in the night.

Everytime i cut on tren i get horrible gas all day and night. I don't know why. Maybe from artifical sugars. But when i bulk im have no gas.

I like to keep my fats around 20-30g and fill the rest with carbs and protein when cutting on tren.

So.. just to put these numbers into context you are 220 at 12% BF right now. This puts your BF mass at 26.4 TOTAL pounds.

You want to cut to 10% BF or 22 pounds TOTAL BF mass.

Frankly cutting 4.4 pounds of fat shouldn't warrant this level of thought especially for someone already at low BF who uses AAS. It isn't even a "cut" in that you shouldn't need more than 4-5 weeks of minor dietary changes to affect this loss.

If you are making it more complicated than this then something about the premise or the goal is way the fuck off.

I would keep your calories around maintenance....
High protein, moderate carbs (mostly breakfast and postworkout), fats make sure you get the healthy ones(olive oil, fish oil, etc)
Do 30-45min fasted cardio low intensity steady state in the AM and drink some green tea. You should shed some fat and gain strength.

Good luck my friend and keep us posted! ;)

Exactly. Hypebeast, you must know a little about diet already to have those stats, if your 12% is accurate.

But at 220 pounds and 12%, this is not your first time using steroids, and you probably are not going to do both: lose fat and gain muscle.

PIck one, and do it well, or try both and don't do so well.

Honestly, push your protein as high as you can (250-350 grams/day), push the carbs high, keep the fats moderate/low, and watch the scale and the mirror and the tape measure.

Then pull out fats and carbs as needed while keeping the protein high. Add in some cardio, too. Make small changes rather than large ones and don't make any changes more often than a week or two (unless you are carb cycling, obviously). If you did not lean up as you expected in the mirror or by the tape measure, then pull out a little bit of fats, maybe some carbs, and add a little cardio. Then wait a week or two to see results. Like what change you see? Then don't change anything. Still not getting leaner? Pull out some more fats and a little bit of carbs and add a little cardio.

And so on.

This is not rocket science.

Of course, you must be meticulously tracking or you won't be able to make small changes at all, right?
