Hey guys, I find that my estrogen levels are permanently raised, is there any type of natural AI I can take long-term that won't cause side effects or f*ck me up if I ever stop taking it?

Grape Seed Extract is supposed to be good.

Same as the short term side effects couple with the possibility of completely shutting e2 down I would assume.

What issues are the elevated e2 causing?

Ask your doctor what to do. Not forums

Oh, come on - that's what this forum is for. All of us (well, those of us on TRT anyway) have docs of rather different levels of insight. Comparing what docs say is part of the value of Meso. Where else can you go for some opinions - and several on the site are quite knowledgeable, look at all the medical journal references.

Believe it or not guys plenty of doctors that prescribe TRT have no idea what they're doing when it comes to hormone therapy.

Understatement of the year. Reading about people's experiences on this site you wonder how some passed med school. I'm thinking of the one shot every other week, or even once per month guys!

Just gyno from what I can tell :/ I can get it surgically removed, but it will come back due to my raised estrogen levels I presume, and removing the entire gland leaves an ugly caved in nipple which might be just as bad as gyno. So I think my only option is to somehow lower my estrogen levels.

It's pretty inexpensive when you order the tests yourself and you're the only one who gets the results unless you wish to share them with others or your doctor.

I store all my results in a safe place - on Facebook.

Seriously though, the closest blood place is manned by idiots, and the next one is an hour away, ugh. I'll try to be better, yes sir.

Have you given DIM a try? 1 200mg pill per day on my TRT regimen, and 2-4 pills per day on cycle. Under this protocol I have never had an issue with elevated E2 levels. It's worth giving a try.

I've been juicing the last 2 weeks and researching the different vegetables. I ran into this study saying cabbage and broccoli increases the metabolism of estrogen by 50% in both males and females.

"In a group of 12 healthy volunteers, the average extent of reaction increased by approximately 50% during this short exposure (p less than 0.01), affecting men and women equally"

Altered estrogen metabolism and excretion in humans following consumption of indole-3-carbinol.

Abstract

Research studies have demonstrated a strong association between estrogen metabolism and the incidence of breast cancer, and we have therefore sought pharmacological means of favorably altering both metabolism and subsequent risk. Indole-3-carbinol (I3C), obtained from cruciferous vegetables (e.g., cabbage, broccoli, etc.), is a known inducer of oxidative P-450 metabolism in animals. We investigated the effects in humans of short-term oral exposure to this compound (6-7 mg/kg/day over 7 days). We used an in vivo radiometric test, which provided a highly specific and reproducible measure of estradiol 2-hydroxylation before and after exposure to I3C. In a group of 12 healthy volunteers, the average extent of reaction increased by approximately 50% during this short exposure (p less than 0.01), affecting men and women equally. We also measured the urinary excretion of two key estrogen metabolites, 2-hydroxyestrone (2OHE1) and estriol (E3). We found that the excretion of 2OHE1 relative to that of E3 was significantly increased by I3C, further confirming the ongoing induction of 2-hydroxylation. These results indicate that I3C predictably alters endogenous estrogen metabolism toward increased catechol estrogen production and may thereby provide a n

Has this been supported by blood work for you? Just curious, Pete, thanks.

Sure has. I usually keep my e2 in the 40's,by hats where I feel the best. On TRT I have watch how much DIM I ingest, it has crashed my E2. I know everyone is different but, if I works for me I should work for some of those that are not sensitive to Test to E2 conversion.
