Bicep work

Guy is small, sorry bro but I listen to the ones that practice what they preach. Don't come at me with a video titled "how to build massive biceps" when you have looked the same way for the past 10 fucking years. Dude looks like a holocaust victim year round. Gtfo of here with that nonsense. And a bit overly complicated at that? Ya think? Arm chair theorizer bullshit is abt 90% of the content to me
Not everyone wants to look like Ronnie Coleman. Some of us still want to be able to wipe our own asses.

Here’s the problem with going high. If you aren’t actually getting DOMS in your biceps, and I’m not getting them with 140lb preacher curls, you aren’t even using your biceps. They won’t grow. Period.

Even if it’s a little bit of weight, your biceps will grow. Of course, you actually have to increase the weight as you get bigger. But starting low and doing high reps will work, as long as your biceps are squeezing. You just need to keep increasing until you can’t.

If you work with too high weight, your forearms, etc. will do the bulk of the work, maybe all of it.
Heavy is relative and nobody said anything about using weight that’s too heavy or bad form.
Also why are you giving advice? Go look at your log. A little bit of weight is a soup can. No a little bit of weight won’t make shit grow. Post a pic or stop with the bullshit. You’re 50% bodyfat, blasting drugs and eating like an asshole.

Dude seriously? You think that just happens? Also you’re super obese. You’d rather be on my 600lb life. Trust me, no one here thinks you’re going to develop a good impressive physique

I find it very hard to take advice from an entitled vegan who lives off his wife. Sorry!

Vegan who lives off his wife? I’m not even sure where you got that from you obese weak walking cardiac arrest. See, everything I said is factual. I’m literally everything you could never be.

Whoa, I can feel the insecurity flowing through you, manlet. You’re barely taller than a toilet and your wife takes care of you, so your only recourse is negative shit talking on an online forum to feel better about yourself.

I feel bad for you, brother.

@Bork, how much do you really know about @NLM36? If you have seen the pictures he has posted of his physique he does put in the work and is knowledgeable about training. Why not at least listen to what he has to say and perhaps learn from such criticism?

Not a knock on you man, no need to put him down.

I actually look at some his advice and accept it, believe it or not. The problem is his attitude. All he does is put people down constantly and insult them.

Finally, I’ve tried multiple times to make peace with him. He’s an uninterested troll. He doesn’t deserve respect from me.

Understandable and I've had my share of attacks from him but he's apologized to me since...not sure the whole thing with you and him started however...

Troll? Lol my attitude? I’m honest. You’re fat loser piece of shit. Make peace? I don’t need to make piece with some child on deaths door.

He knows fuck all about me. He just doesn’t like honesty. He makes shit up about when he knows nothing. I can point to everything I’ve said about him with his words on the screen.

I m starting doing it in concentration curl fashion to being able to lift the dumbbell with the other hand when i past failure… i force the eccentrics with the heaviest weight of the 3 you should use… soreness is another level..

and i think too incline bench dumbbell curls is cool, with partials and iso in the end, i think i ll start my routine with chin ups then

Thanks for this. I just did this for the first time today, and I can't lift my arms now. This is my goto for biceps now. Brutal but worth it.

Quick question. I usually do triceps after chest. This morning I mixed it up a little on chest. I did total of 14 sets to failure with various chest exercises and well to be honest I was spent. Should I do triceps tonight or wait till tomorrow. Feel ok now but not sure which would be wiser choice

It all depends, but 14 chest exercises to failure is a lot. Now, had you done 14 sets of chest but only your last set of each different exercise to failure then I would say to go for it, but it would be far too much for me personally.

It was, I went to bed and hit triceps, traps at 3 this morning and got a full grueling workout in.

Throw seated incline curls and weighted chin-ups into your program. The inclines are great for building arm width (they’re also very humbling because they force you to use light weight) and weighted chins are dual purpose: they’ll make your biceps explode as arguably the best bicep movement and they’re also a top three back exercise.
Agreed! I feel the bicep working and isolated the most with incline curls and I get the most development when I keep them in my routine as a mainstay. If you do these weekly and really really give it your all during this exercise you'll feel the burn and muscle contraction and see the results more so than any other bicep exercise IMO.

My arms are 1/4 of an inch larger than they were 3 days ago. I don't know if I'm just starting to see the effects of my first cycle at the beginning of week 8 or it's the 3 days in a row of 8 sets of 10-12 reps. Two of those days were incline seated dumbbell curls, and the third day was barbell curls.

It’s called inflammation, water, blood and glycogen they didn’t grow appreciable tissue in days.

A good mind muscle connection + progressive overload.

I can drag curl 100lbs dumbbells' as an intensifier, which has its place, after I overload the muscle (to failure/working sets) with a movement that makes my biceps feel like they are going to explode with a solid connection/contraction.

Its not always black and white, but overload is the one constant.
