lol, no matter what any shit talker says, he still has the biggest arms, even if it is 20 gallons of synthol, i read his bicep routine in the old ass MD awhile back, just curious, if any of you guys know of any good routines or special exercises that you seem to get the most results from, for about 5 weeks i have been going strict on all bicep movements, and doing loads of concentrations, it seems to be working well w/ me, about 90% of my arm workouts so far have been 1 arm exercises, but i dont know, if some of you other guys w/ lots more gym knowledge could help me out would be totally appreciated.....thanks alot guys....Adieu
 
huge bump for info. as a tall guy 6' 3'' wit out shoes I am always strugling to keep my arms up to speed with my frame. my chest and back grow nicely but my arms take longer to catch up i would like a better workout to get more bang for the effort

The chick below has big arms as well, does it look impressive? Hell NO!! She has big legs too. Synthol is the same as fat, but it is in its liquid form. Oil is fat and fat is oil. Oil is just fat in liquid form thats all.

Anyone can inject stupid amounts of oil in their arms, but it is the strong, dedicated, and great that can cause muscular hypertrophy in their arms.

The choice is yours, you can be stupid with ugly arms, or you can be strong, dedicated, and great with nice looking arms.
 
thanks alot man, i'll give it a go :)....and to whom it concerns, sure his arms look a bit rediculous, and it is pretty cheap to inject oils, but still, go to his website and take a look at his arms when he was bodybuilding, its obvious he has great genetics in the biceps, despite using synthol....just my .02....TTT!!!!
 
I have the same problem....i am 6'2" and my arms are the slowest growing parts of my body. i have found the compound excercises definately work the best for me atleast.

i dont completely agree with isolation excercises because I dont feel that isolation is what something like your biceps need. my favorite bicep excercise is the standing barbell curl w/ arms just wider than shoulder width.

i agree with Jeff Willet and Skip Lacour's method of "controlled cheating" which allows you to strengthen all the other muscle groups which stabalize your curling motion and prevent unnecessary stress on the joints, etc.

curl up fast with minimal upperbody movement, and slow on the way down.

this along with some hammer dumbell curls seem to do the trick.

low reps, high weight, non-isolation movements, intensity!!!

have you priced Synthol...that shit isnt cheap. go to davepalumbo.com , its spendy, and its all there was for along time. Valentino looked way better before he went a totally fucked his muscle bellies up.

i wouldnt really say anything is wrong with it, I am just talking about how my body reacts to isolation movements compared to compound movements. i feel that when your body has some play/movement in it, it is a more natural movement with a more natural range of motion.

i have tried to isolation movements and I dont grow nearly as well using them.

just my $.02

I met valentino a couple times. Awhile back, I was training at the same times at my gym that he was there training some other guys. Real nice guy. Sometimes at night after their workouts, I'd see him by the front desk eating pizza with the other guys and the gym owner. Greg has unbelievably huge arms. If you think they look big in the magazines, you should see him in person. He usually wears a big hooded sweatshirt, and even through that his arms are bulging to rip through the sweatshirt!!! unreal!! :eek:

It's not like he could fool anyone with those, anyone can see they aren't natural. I don't get it... what's the point.

First i would ask you how often are you training your arms? Some Bros do 30 plus sets for arms more than they do for legs and then they do that twice a weeks, IMO thats way tooo much training. I train my arms alone, I dont include another body part, if i get done too early I'll use that time on the treadmill. I used to have trouble with arm size and here are a few things that helped me:
Single cable curls
Cable reverse curl
Preacher curls
Incline bench alternating dumbbell curls

Now remember to switch up your training routine every few weeks. Also try to drink a protein drink right after your workout. Hope this info helps you some.

The damn guy still entertains me. I am reading his article right now. He does what is required of him. Have those that enjoy him and those that dispise him talk about him. I wish I could have thousands of people talking about me every damn month. To get paid just to state what happen in my past and to state my opinions. Oh by the way I hate the Yankees. Yankees sucks
