Haha this video needs to be renamed "the two most basic bicep excersises." You're essentially doing the same workout with both. You're using the same ROM. You should have incorporated alot more into this like chin ups and 21's.
The king for just pure bicep mass is barbell bicep curls. Nothing will just add slabs to your arm size like those. Everything else on my opinion to for decorating your bicep. That's my personal opinion.
Also you need to be able to control the weight otherwise you will use nothing but body momentum in those hammers. If you can hold that weight in the flexed position you have control of it.
By the way that preacher bench sucks donkey balls. That bar placement is on the way of your range of motion. I guess you can get away with it but it would suck for taller people with farther arm reach.
