You’re right. And in an ideal world this is how it would work.
Unfortunately, it’s not a 2-way street either. We could be nice to new sources, encourage them, help them, and give them “atta boy” pats on the back. But it wouldn’t matter, some are here to scam, some are basic home brewers, and some are actually really good at what they are doing and run it like legitimate legal businesses.
That last group is who we want here and we’re trying to weed out the rest.
I personally have never bashed someone for ordering unless they are obviously a shill. I haven’t bashed anyone who ordered from Big Bear. Members come first and I’ll listen to them and support them unless there is an ulterior motive like that fuckwad
@balco.
The scamming sources are the ones that you should be pissed at, they ruin your whole utopian source system because they’re here just to take advantage. Next would be the bad brewers like the recent ones that had shit floating in their product. There’s no place for that here.
I’m harder on Big Bear only because he’s posted a few inconsistent things that lead me to believe that he’s being less than truthful. He did post product testing results which is a good step. But I need to see much more before he builds the trust that is essential to this endeavor. I personally prefer sources that are transparent and conduct themselves like businessmen. But you are absolutely right, any single one of them can burn people at any given moment. That’s why we as members need to stick together and support each other. No member bashing. It’s us against them.
