Bike VS Treadmill

Circuits can be done in the gym or at home bro.

Pick 3-5 cardio exercises and do each exercise with maximum effort to failure in short bursts (HIIT style) and then switch straight away to the next exercise. When you've done all the exercises with no rest inbetween you've completed 1 circuit.

30 minutes is usually enough.
Yes, it sounds interesting. At least you should try and not die, because I'm a lazy old grandfather :)

I do circuits on 4week cycles just to stay fit and flexible and incorporate muscles that don't get used very often.

I'll pick 1 static machine per month (rower/bike/Xtrainer/stepper) and then throw in 3-5 other cardio exercises to make up a circuit.

Burpees, box jumps, battle-grapple rope throws, push ups, jump squats, medicine balls, kettle bell swings etc etc etc are all great cardio movements for total body conditioning.

I'm so not flexible, and I feel like if I fell on the ground, I would literally shatter to pieces...and I'm only 38.

If you don't fancy doing all the jumps and other more complicated movements maybe just try some rope work for a change to normal cardio?

Have a look at all these upper body cardio movements using just ropes. This shit is harder than it looks and it will totally burn more cals than a static machine and improve your fitness/endurance/flexibility too.

These ropes are just some kind of hell, I somehow worked with them for a while. They take the soul out of me.

Swimming is a shitty form of cardio, coming from someone that did 10 miles in the pool every morning, for four years, followed by an 8 mile run.

Walking or a brisk jog is the best form
followed by Treadmill, as all three are easy on the joints and allow for long term results.

Biking is not only monotonous but both kills sperm as well as causes related long term penile issues, not that you jacked douche bags ever cared about your dicks
lol

For fat loss, there's something about walking 5,6,7 miles a day, that nothing else compares to.

It's very strange.

it's the fact you are carrying your body weight over longer distances without destroying yourself as you would with running.

Things I'd never thought I'd hear: People claiming a jog is easy on the joints.

Real bicycle > everything else when it comes to land cardio, not water.

But overall swimming is the best form of cardio for almost anyone.
What is the best cardio? Probably it all depends on the goals and objectives. I think it's important to change the type of cardio so that you don't get bored. Everywhere it is important to find your own rhythm so that it does not put moral pressure on a person.

No fucking way, it's just your opinion anyway...

I love swimming and it's excellent form of cardio. End of story.
Fuck yeah, I take the kids to the quarry and I'm jumping off the diving boards and treading water, swimming all day, and doesn't even feel like a workout

The next day your shoulders look completely different after doing g that for 6 hours lol and it's awesome family time

That being said I do 2 treadmill sessions a day one fasted I the am with my weight vest on, and one in the evening either after the gym or before I head to work sans vest

How much does your vest weigh?

It's the one that you stick with.
I think you're right, but often people on cardio just burn themselves out. Cardio is just one of the tools, like nutrition and training and of course recovery. Low-intensity cardio is also a plus for recovery.
