So I went to the Dr. to review my blood test from last month. The PA I spoke with seems concerned with the elevated creatinine more than anything else. Also my BP was 140/80. I have never had what you would consider a high BP till then. I have noticed I seem to have a bit more water retention than usual. does anyone have a good recommendation to keep my BP in check before I end up on more prescription meds?

I am 6' 209 lbs. Currently 200 mg a week of test c. Been on the same dosage for about a year now and never had any issues. I had High cholesterol before i started getting test from the Dr. I am on medication for that and they recommended that I up my frequency to 7 days a week on the statin that I take. As far as Diet i get in 230 - 250 grams of protein a day. 200 grams of carbs and less than 50 grams of fat. I am in the gym 6 days a week. Lift monday through friday followed by cardio and then long cardio session on saturday. Planning on changing to a PPL Split next week with a cardio day wednesday then sunday active rest. Not really sure what my BF% is. Waist is at 32 - 33"

Valid point. I don't know why the attachment didn't stay on there with the original post.

Get ur e2 check that water retention could be from High estrogen, that slightly elevated blood pressure also. That 140 over 80 is not bad for me but needs to be monitored.

ur on top of ur cardio and all that.should help maintain a decent resting heat rate.

Hes 6' 209 32in waste on 200 mg test c lol , everything seems on point hes good to go. But those are the questions to ask, aswell as age.

Do you get nervous at the doctor or around medical people? It's not uncommon for people to have a 20 or more point increase in their systolic just due to the anxiety from being at a medical facility. Maybe check it at home in a relaxed state on a few different days to make sure it's a true read.

Yeah man unless you have a true underlying health condition and aren't stretching the truth here, you should be fine.

200mg is a lot. But I took 200 for years and have dialed it back some now after bad blood work. That will cause slight issues agter a year or 2... not the most dire , but a problem nonetheless thag should be attended to. Rosuvastatin is what most here take.

I suggest donating blood every 2 months until your hematocrit is 50ish.

I would get your own pannel done from now on every 3.5 ? Months if really all your doing is Test... Your diet is so low in fat too. You just have some extra sticky cholesterol mate. Keep that statin up, Telmasartan will lower BP.

UncleBuns is right. One reading at the doc office means jack shit. Literally. Get a meter for at home, do 2 readings. Second reading is usually the more accurate number.

Yea but mine always comes way down after my first or second try.

I find diet is what affects my blood pressure the most, ive had worse readings on trt than when blasting because of food choices.

Watch for sodium laden foods and water retention, it elevates both rhr and bp for me.

Nowadays, I decreased my bp meds in half and still read 110-125/65-80 just because I eat cleaner 90% of the time, no sugary and fried foods or oils.
