BlueDress Primo and Var

The evil scale.. we women let it get to us way too much. I've decided to not get on for a bit, because my weight has been fluctuating too. Can't let it get the best of us! Whatever her weight, she looks amazing- solid & strong! Hope she starts to feel better soon. She's got an encouraging & supportive man- that can go a long way:)

Perfect use of the graph, well done putting things into perspective.

Weight does seem to fluctuate a fair amount early on in a cycle, one the hormones stabilize thinks tend to get easier. IME anyways.

Tell her to keep water intake high, keep an eye on calories and have fun.
Roger that.

You mentioned drinking water and I told her the same thing. She admits she guzzles way too much coffee and not enough H20 outside the gym/at work. Coupled with years of preworkout (and only a few deliberate breaks) I think all the constant caffeine contributes to adrenal fatigue - her digestion slows down and she gets that bloating too.

She's a sweetheart but I know I'm not weaning her off coffee right now... not unless I want her serving up that "Hate-orade" to me! (Will push the water though.)

She hates the scale and despite knowing better (i.e. "Muscle weighs more than fat" "measure inches not pounds" etc) she takes that friggin' number to tear herself down. She knows that so she avoids trying to even know... She cracks me up - she stands backwards on the scale at the Drs office and tells them, "Don't tell me. Just write it down." She had me read it at home, record it, and not tell her - at least she pretends not to know.

Thanks for the compliment. BD has been just as supportive to me over the years - I probably owe 24 of the last 25lbs in my gainz to her. She does look solid and powerful - and so do you! Man - you rocked that red dress for your anniversary!!!! You got what she's chasing... turning heads and droppin' jaws!

Ha, sounds familiar- the last time I went to the Dr I refused to get on the scale. The nurse probably thought I was ridiculous, lol. Like most, I am my harshest critic.. At least it keeps me goal-oriented & humble! And thank you- going from not wanting to ever show my legs to actually feeling good about them is a big accomplishment for me. Nice to have a place like Meso to come to for extra reinforcement ;) Good to see & hear about other couples in this together! It's done lots for my relationship.. and gains  Teamwork! Cheers to you & BD :D

you need to tell her that once we are "super human", scale is misleading. We may be 140lbs but look 120lbs ...fat takes up more space, more mass... muscle is compact so takes up less... both weigh the same though. It's all an illusion, tell her to throw that scale as far as she can till it explodes then only go by how she looks and measurements. numbers mean nothing.

I fight this battle in my head alllllll the time. BD isn't alone but we have to adjust how we think.

Thanks @GearGodess... I actually used your words about throwing the scale yesterday. I got home after being away for almost two weeks and she was telling me that she stepped in the scale and there was zero weight change, but that she is feeling the transformation especially in her legs. She says her jeans aren't as tight around her quads for sure (about 26") - and she looked damned good when I came home.

Actually we met along the way home from her work- both to give blood. I was already in the chair and she came back to see me first. She looked spectacular and the phlebotomist said to me, "That's your wife?... She's like out of this world buff! Wow! I love it! We're not going to donate her blood - I'm gonna take it [for me]!"

So she's looking and feeling great as she finished week 5 on the revised dosing schedule GG recommended. She is denser and harder. Some cuts coming in but vascularity not quite as good as last year... yet. BD says she's now feeling it for sure - just a general well-being feeling all the time. Recovers faster and feels strong, but not breaking any PRs yet. She is VERY happy now with results. It's been a long time for her to actually feel and see them.

No negative sides although on the phone before I came home I thought her voice was slightly different, but when I came home face to face it sounded the normal. Must have been the phone but I'm listening closely. She hasn't noticed it ...

Two days ago she screwed up an injection in her quad. I don't think she checked(drew in) to see if she was in vein/capillary before she pushed it in and she got a huge blood bruise and swelling afterwards. Pretty ugly and a little sore... but no other problems.

She's cruising on the Primo well now and we're thinking that we won't add anavar until at least June 3 or 10(after week 8).

First sides. BlueDress says she's her lady parts have become supersensitive the last five days. She thinks it's a tiny bit swole too. I can't tell any difference but I'm sure she knows her body. I'm glad she kind of likes the increased sensitivity at this point. It really isn't a bad thing - we had a pretty good romp last night! Voice is fine. Anyways, no change to the program. She's lookin' fine.

In week 7 of the 20mg EOD Primo program. BlueDress has felt excellent. Diet is on track and training has been consistent with weight around her max. She was doing multiple sets (8-10) of bench press this past weekend at 155 and she just hesitated to go to 165. She's also got a strained connector in her bicep/forearm that's preventing her from increasing back and bicep movements, as well as an unsteady knee she's being careful with too when squatting. Overall though, she's making steady progress while being extra cautious to prevent injury. Last year, her strength took off with the var and she seemed like she was injuring herself more easily, so she feels the primo and she's increasing volume vice weight - for now, strict on form and risk averse to experimenting with her max.

She's seeing the results. Sometimes, in the right light, she looks like she's exploding - while most of the time her skin appears to be ever so slowly getting shrink-wrapped around her. (I'm including three pics this week, two of which I snapped at her outside with incredible sunlight - she was pretty shocked too). She wants to lose more tighten up lower body more, but can't complain with the slow but steady progress. She's doing more cardio than she did last year on cycle. In fact, the question is now about maybe keeping on primo several more weeks before adding the var.

Sides are minimal - only ladybits are ever so very, very, very slightly enlarged ...almost un-noticeable. No hair loss. No acne. Skin much less oily than when on var. I will say though, every so often I think I detect a slight change in her voice and then it seems normal again. She doesn't seem to think its different.

So the options we're wrestling with are..

1. Maybe go 12 weeks on Primo(another 6 weeks) and then stack var for 8 weeks with it and end at 20 weeks. We've read women can go 20 weeks on Primo...and BlueDress just never wants this to end now!

2. Do just Primo for 18-20 weeks and then do a separate Var cycle. (It ends up being a marathon cycle of 26-28 weeks)

3. Or shorten the Primo cycle somewhere , stack var for a short transition period before ending completely on var for a few weeks.

Original plan was to stack 20mg var ED after eight weeks on primo and finish at 16-18 weeks total. The primo is working so nicely, she wants to keep it doing its thing - especially since she doesn't have any real sides yet. She didn't have sides with 20mg var last year either but stacking together on a such a long run might prove problematic.

The bruising is almost healed up from the bad poke. I usually prep her pins, but she's very comfortable sticking herself now. In fact, she was asking if maybe we can find some injectable B12 now.

BlueDress is getting some great gains. All that hard work is really starting to show now!!

Wow, BD has made some awesome gainz! As far as what to do with her cycle, the saying of "Don't fix it if it ain't broken" comes to mind. Primo, her diet and training are doing their thing and she's seeing/feeling really good results. Is it absolutely necessary for her to add in Var or is she really just missing the strength gainz? I don't blame her if it's the latter because I miss the instant gratification I got with Var, lol.

Thanks IV! I'm glad it's showing and she sees/feels it too ... finally. It was so frustrating for her not really feeling any results in the beginning, especially since she only had the anavar experience to compare it with.

@Crystal234, you are so dead on right! Even though she expected deferred results, the length of time waiting was psychologically harder as you two both know from having done your var cycles last year. She still hasn't felt that surge in strength the var gives... virtually instantly compared to Primo.

Even this morning at the gym, she asked me the second time in a week,"Don't I take a pin today?"... and I had to remind her,"No - you had it yesterday. Remember?" She's looking forward to the shots where before she was dreading taking them getting started. She digs the effects now - wants more of this goodness.

We'll see about delaying the var or just skipping it. I think she's hungry for the big boost feeling now - and excited for it (minus the bloating). Kind of like you said, why tinker when it's working so well now? ... especially with almost zero sides.

Ha, I can totally empathize. I'm going on week three now and feel absolutely no strength gainz or extra energy, but I am already experiencing sides.[emoji20] It's great BD hasn't experienced anything negative as of yet and hopefully it will remain that way.[emoji106]

Too funny that she keeps asking you if it's time to pin again.[emoji1]

All going smoothly for BD now and she's doing great!!

My recommendation and what I tend to do is option 1. Ultimately, if all is going smoothly now but she's wanting more then add the var. She has primo figured out and knows how she's responding to it. 7 weeks is plenty time to see. So, if she really wants, she can start var in her 8th week. Start at a half dose of what she normally does and see how the next 2 weeks feel before increasing. She can still run 16-20 weeks total.

It's Course of Action 1 for now.

We were not counting the time starting from March 7 when we thought it was enthanate and we were way underdosing for a month. We feel the clock really started around April 18 - when you helped us figure out that course correction for acetate. So if we add var around July 12, 10mg split for two weeks, then full 20mg split if all OK from 6 more weeks(total 8 weeks var), it brings her to 20 weeks on September 5. If we were to also count that underdosing time it would be 25 weeks... over 6 months on cycle. Maybe it would be better to start the var earlier and end around first week of August. That's 21 weeks from her first pin - 16 of full-dosing the primo with last 8 also stacked with var.

The next question she'll have is, "When can we do this again?!" Can you take a shorter break between primo cycles? ... or stick to same time off as time on.

How many weeks did it take with primo till she really felt and saw the results she did with var ? The anobolic rating where not that far apart from what I remember reading. Makes me wonder if most ugl var has at least some dbol in it. It's anobolic rating is up there and makes sense to have immediate results ? Granted bd looks unreal muscular and is doing great. But I don't get why y'all haven't started the var if such good results came from it previously? Sounds like she wants to be less muscular and appear more lean. Pretty good problem to have btw. Wouldn't var and a lot of hiit training and less weight training work better to that goal ?
