Booze and Bodybuilding

Does anyone here combine a strict bodybuilding routine with occasional drinks on the weekends? I know this can be a taboo topic in fitness, but I'm curious if anyone relaxes with a drink even while on a cycle. I currently have at least one night on the beers on weekends but keep up with cardio and diet during the week, and avoid drinking heavily when on a blast.
 
I quit drinking not because of a much concern of my health aspect but mostly because of the calories and the fact that every time i was drinking i couldn't stopped eating shite like nuts, chips and many salty and greasy stuff in general.

I love alcohol but i don't enjoy drinking it without having the appetizers or a full course of dishes so for that reason i ended up drinking 2-3 days a year like a birthday party, new year's eve etc.

This is me as well. The alcohol leads to poor diet decisions. I doubt the calories directly from alcohol once a week are going to make or break you unless you're a super heavy binge drinker or 2 weeks out from a comp.
 
In Arnold, Education of a Bodybuilder, he described how he and Franco Colombu would work out in Munich and then go next door and eat a whole chicken and down a huge stein of beer.
