Tren is a gift and a curse... turns me into a psycho asshole with high bp hot flashes, yet makes me super fucking strong and able to cut eating pizza three times a day. I say pin tren and beat the girlfriend over a super value meal, but my values and goals may differ from yours.

225 x 4
315 x 1
385 x 0 so fucking close... stalled 3/4 of the way up. Guess I shouldn't have tried adding 20 lbs to last week. I fought that fucker hard.
370 x 1 so I added 5 lbs to last week.
315 x 5
Flat db bench

For 7, 8 and 7
Hammer strength
1 plate by 12, 2 by 7, 1 by a couple. Shoulder didn't like that shit
Cable curls
7 sets of 12.

Happy to add 5 lbs to bench and could have added 10 if I didn't get greedy looking for 20. 380 next saturday. Stay tuned.

I have been feeling like like absolute shit and I am now dropping the eq. I pretty much decided that the results I get from 100 tren a day and 50 test a day far eclipse every other compound I ever ran, especially on a sides/results ratio. Orals either give me headaches or pumps that fuck up my workouts... I could be done with everything but test / tren. I love it so.

Nice work my friend. One question though is this the same Brutus who posted the statement below two months ago in this thread???:)

I have done a 5 week gvt run- astounding results strength wise. He has not done it before. His cycle is slightly different- he is doing tren and npp if I am not mistaken. I csn not run tren because it makes me want to murder people.
 
It isn't going to be for my upcoming meet but when the time comes you and JB will be my meet training cycle consultants if your willing.

That job doesn't pay much but hopefully you guys will get some satisfaction out of helping an old guy lift some big numbers and set PR's.

Not sure I'm very qualified but I'll help anyway I can!!
 
You both have a ton of knowledge in an area that I don't. Also, I have found a lot of powerlifters tend to run way too much gear for way too long and I think you guys will provide me with a far more objective opinion. I think it probably has a lot to do with our mindset as the thought of being weaker even for relatively short periods of time is tough to accept.

I am finally learning that lesson this cycle... some is better than none, but more is not always better. I just wish I had money for gh. Did you say you read elitefts ?
 
Brutus thats a fucking hell of a jump from a 315 x 1, how much time between?

I like the way Brutus works up to a max attempt. IMO most guys do way too much work prior to a max bench attempt and likely cause themselves some pound.

When I ran the Bulgarian method (working up to a training max everyday) prior to my last meet my warm up sets looked like this 5x135, 4x185, 2x235, 1x285, 1x335, max attempt (somewhere between 375 and 385 depending on the day)

Yes on EliteFTS Brutus. Without saying too much I have some personal experience with them.

@brutus79. ....if I you don't mind a suggestion.....when you attempt 315...go for 3 reps....then skip 385 and go straight to 405. This was how I was able to put up 405. Once you can rep 315 for 5-8 reps...then your ready for 450. That's how I did it....I know everyone's different. Just thought I'd put out some friendly advice.

That was some 15-16 years ago. I'm old...jeesh!

Having some twinges in hernia land. .. going to stay away from bent stuff for a bit- single arm rows and supported tbar rows on the menu.
My diet has sucked lately- I look at chicken breast and puke in my mouth a bit... although I did just enjoy some chicken in the form of 20 mcnuggets bathed in sweet and sour sauce with an orange hiC! Yaaaaaay!

about the only time I don't puke looking at chicken period is when I put 6 chicken breast in a green bean casserole. that is yummy stuff :D other than that I hate chicken.

I love when my wife makes this, so not healthy the way she makes but I don't care I'll eat the shit out of it!
