@brutus79 I actually made a Sam's trip today and saw the Arnold protein on an end-cap. All they had was chocolate, and I am not sure I have tried MPs chocolate before. Did not want to roll the dice on that size of a bottle and not like the taste. On a side note I like FST-7 and the pump that comes with it.
 
Uhrrrrrrr.... I was trying to hit 240 tonight, fell a half pound short.. I know your night weight isn't your true weight but still, pretty unbelievable that I'm so close to my stated "goal" of 240 only 2 weeks in right?!

Well the goal has changed... I am going to continue eating copious amounts of clean food until I stop gaining which historically is around 7 weeks.. At that time it will be a welcome change to stop force feeding myself and I'll do some serious modifying to my diet to get my 6 pack back.. Right now I'm around 15% BF.. This is going to be a total transformation..

I'm getting more gear this week and I'm extending my cycle to 16 weeks as at least half of it will now be kind of a cut.. I have pics from the start and 2 weeks in but I'm waiting for more of a drastic change to post full frontals (shut up CBS ;) ) I'll put some wife beater shots up soon though..

Agreed, this is one badass log boys. Love the emphasis on food and hard ass training! Will deff be following along. I started a log over on mikes board but may bring it over here as well. Keep it up brothers you are inspiring others to bust ass!

It's obviously subjective but I liked it. Doesn't dissolve as well as on, but nothing does but on.
 
Finally a fucking thread about you need to eat a shit ton of food while on cycle. If your food does not cost more than the gear...well unless you are running Gh but food should be the biggest cost. Some young guys don't get that ordering from sources with a 100 dollar minimum trying to get by cheap you will never get what you want out of a cycle that way. Look at the lbs these guys are putting on and the oils have yet to kick in.

Johnny way to put the socks on. That is funny. @brutus79 GVT should be good even on a cut right. Well my cut could be considered a lean bulk in some circles.

Hahaha this reminds me of my buddy a few weeks ago. He was running Slin and was out at work in the middle of nowhere. He takes his slin and gets his shake down and then is sitting there thinking ummmm this isn't settling very well. He sits for another minute and then throws ups right back into his cup. Thinking well I either risk the chance of going into shock or.... Yuuup you guessed it, gulps that shake right back up. He told me the story and I was cracking up for 30 minutes.

In my experience gvt is good for everything- cutting while building lbm, strength gains and gets my joints and tendons ready to put in some real work weight wise.
 
Absolutely fucking awesome chest/back gvt. We added 30 FUCKING POUNDS to the flat bench we were struggling to finish last week. Took away 30 fucking pounds from pull up assist. I was in the first few Sets of both mentally fighting with myself wanting to drop weight.... and didn't. Great workout and amazed we moved around the weight we did.

Flat bench 175 lbs ten sets of ten. Epic. 200 next week so stay tuned.

Wide grip pull up ten sets of ten. Started this week before last with 145lb assist and now at 100. I have also gained about ten lbs so we are talking a 55lb swing.

Db flys five sets of twelve. 35 lb nice and slow

Bent bb rows 135 4 sets ten epic scapular retraction.

I woke up this morning at 256.8 and had to fight putting a gun in my mouth... instead I put a whole bunch of tbol in it. I had been tapering down on it and panicked when I saw the weight loss... I think I am going to put the scale in the trunk of my car and weigh once a week... my dysmorphia/obsession has me on it every hour and it has to stop.

Due to the huge strength gains on this gvt run we are doing it for a fourth week... I want 200 for ten sets of ten so I can get that 400 bench out of the way right off the rip when we go heavy.

I may rupture my stomach eating today. I have seven meals with me at work and I work till 9. Wish me luck- I prepped 82 meals Sunday so ima get it!
 
Man, this was fucking intense.. After the 3rd bench set I was thinking there's no fucking way I'm getting ten sets at the pace we're moving.. HELLO OILS, nice of you to finally join me!! The gear gods blessed me today as recovery between these fast sets was awesome!!

Cardio sucked, I mean really sucked.. Unbearable shin and calf pumps for 30min but I finished.. Yesterday's cardio was fine so I have no idea what happened today, I took my taurine early this morning.. :confused: Also, yesterday was delts(23 sets) and traps (15 sets)..

I'll throw up a pic I took earlier in a bit..

I was going to do shoulders yesterday and didn't. My shoulders are really bothering me and I am toying with the idea of cortisone shots, but I think the best thing to do is what I'm doing... skip shoulder day for a few weeks and listen to my body.

I have always had this attitude when I am on cycle that I am superman- train, train, train- no pain no gain, negative reps, fail sets, no rest days. Guess what? I always end up injured. Always. So whats the fucking point? I'm 35 and I want another 20 years of moving heavy weights so treating every cycle and workout like it could be my last has a serious effect on my longevity.

I saw a jay cutler interview where he said he never did a negative rep in his life and only failed when he didn't mean to. He attributes that to his injury free success, so why should I make my quest for Olympia any harder?
 
I did that GVT last night squats @ 215, leg extensions, and lunges. Damn I am still gassed. Wish I was eating as much food as you guys. KNees aren't very happy either.
BTW it was the first time I squatted in several months. I think the light weight and reps my back responded better.

Jay tore his bicep not too long ago. You might of watched an old video of his. But I also believe the injury was during contest prep which suggests he wasn't doing volume but rather repetitions without failure. I would really take with .02cents half the stuff that these guys say in videos. You have been doing this for too long brutus. You know what works and what doesn't. Don't get sidetracked and follow your knowledge. I am speaking from personal experience.
 
Dude I was surprised considering how long it has been since I squatted. I really attribute it to all the soccer I have been playing and the fact my back is finally better. My damn knees though.

I had knee issues and back issues. Its all gone after 6months of GH. Placebo? Maybe or whatever the cause it is all gone. Knowing my young stupid naive self i will fuck it up again.
