My translation for doctor/surgeon jargon- if they say you need a week off from lifting it means one day. If they say you need a month off it means a week and if they say you need 3 to 6 months off it means a month. If they say go light it means go for an 8 to 10 rep max instead of a single.

I'm probably stupid that way but letting an injury sideline me fucks with my head. After my bicep tendon surgery I started benching with my brace on as soon as the temporary cast came off.

Hope the chest bounces back quickly for you JB.
 
T4 is turned into t3 by your thyroid... I think? I just deal with t4 better. T3 gives me a fucking brutal headache.
I am also under the impression that unless you have an underlying preexisting thyroid issue supplementation is always fully recovered from. I also think if you hold off on the t3/4 your body will rebound from the lethergic state on its own from the gh.... but a week or two pinning 4 iu and up its tough- you get tired as a muthafucka when your body thinks that pulse means you should be sleeping
T3 gives me a fuckin bad headache too, I didn't even think to try T4 instead. I think I'll give this a try next time around
 
Speaking from former experience..the best thing I've ever heard when it comes to staying clean/sober was, "Avoid the first and you won't have to worry about the rest!"
I know it sounds simple but it's worked for me and hopefully will work for others. Got that from my dad.
One of the few things I had trouble with was alcohol and when I finally quit I decided to go back into one of the places that I had spent so many many hours at. I had no clue what kept me there til they asked me what I wanted to drink...lol. I responded with,"nothing from here" and I left.
 
Last week I listed my new protocol dropping the test down and switching var for the dbol.. Thankfully, my blood pressure issues have resolved after dropping 8lbs of water!! (Thanks again CBS) I don't look or feel as full but I feel 10x better.. I had my arms up to 19.25" now they're 18.75" :( so that sucks.. I woke up this morning 230lbs.

Monday I changed my diet.. I had been stuck at about the same weight for 2 weeks and this is about where my gains slow way the fuck down anyway.. Sick of force feeding so instead of fighting it let's drop some fat!! Protein is ~300g and carbs less than 200.. I'm eating mostly chicken, rice, salad, fruit, eggs, oats, beef.. No dairy and no processed foods!! Well except for when we went out for dinner last night.. 1 cheat meal a week should keep me sane.. After just a week I can see my abs much better but I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the water..

As far as smoking it was a crazy week and I averaged 4-5 a day.. I've been using those cheap gas station e-ciggs and they suck!! I got one of those vaporizers and wow those things are strong.. A few hits and all thoughts of smoking disappear.. Haven't smoked since yesterday, so far so good..

Also adding in albuterol in tomorrow.. Probably start at 12mg/day..
 
Vapor are great e cig suck. I have been over a year cig free! Kanger Tec is the best brand. Just need to be picky with the liquids taste an mill of nicotine.

That's a nice rebuildable there with an easy battery. Sometimes the lengthy mods with buttons at the bottom can be a pain in the ass, always having to lock the button if you don't have a magnetic setup for it.
 
I tell ya- I'm two and a half years clean and sober, but I sure see where a blunt or two would come in real handy for bulking... too bad it always turns in to a couple bundles of dope. Pity.
Been there done that lol know it all too well my friend stay on track stay motivated n most importantly stay clean bro
 
Our discussion about tricep movements a while back inspired me to do some (relatively) heavy dips tonight after benching. Managed 20x +45, 15x +90, 10x +135. I videoed the last set from behind to save anyone from seeing my ugly mug and a belly that needs a little more cardio.

Unfortunately, from the angle I shot it at it looked like I was trying to make love to the thee forty five's between my legs on the ascend on each rep. Since that isn't a visual that most would appreciate I think I will skip posting and try to get a different angle next time.

Does anyone wear elbow wraps when they do triceps? Every so often I forget and pay for it lol. I recently added in a tricep pressdown type movement on the Chin/Dip assist machine. The one with the pad that your knees go on. These would be really difficult if you wanted to superset dips with this.... Kneel in front of the pad and keeping the elbows wide, put your hands in a diamond pattern and pause for two seconds at the top and explode down and slow up. Give those a spin.
 
Ok- chest day! With four days off in the last five days my shoulders and elbows feel brand new!
Downside? Jballz didn't take time off... jb also started tren two weeks ago... therefore jb was beasting it. Conclusion? I started tren today. Fuck that shit. Cut time/strong time. I feel after being stalled for a few weeks my body needs a few changes. Calories are down around 3500-4000 and volume is down in the workouts... in a week or two I want to turn up the volume volume (eh?) Still finishing off fst7 style.

Incline barbell bench
4 sets of 12 (I used 80's and jb used 100's)
Flys db incline (I used 45's jb used 55's)
4 sets 12
Decline bench
225 4 sets 12
I had to drop weight third set... jb did additional reps at full weight.
Pec fly machine
7 sets 12 fast. Decent pump- cables are better
I look at my numbers today and they are pretty sad considering where I am at, but it really felt great. No compensation for pain.

Hit my glute with this and had a gusher I was ready for! Now it feels like a donkey kicked my ass cheek- superman time. I will also be logging the changes in my tren mental state as anger is always an issue for me with tren.
 
should have a belt with a chain. you run the chain through the weights you want to use and waddle over to the dip station.



Huck has it right. This is the only way to do it if you are using more than one 45. The key is getting the right chain length IMO.

The chain in the video is longer than I like, the plates end up in between his knees. When the plates are that low and you are doing a higher rep set they are hard for me to hold in that position and if you loosen up pressure with your knees they shift a little and distract me from the set itself.

I prefer to hold the plates between my thighs with a shorter chain where I can control them better but you have to be careful to make sure you don't have the chain too short and put your nuts in danger.

I'm going to do dips using the Dave Tate "hoodie on" method on Friday and I will video tape them from the side and post it for MgHoward.
