Revamping my diet going to do some carb cycling for on and off days I have two choices between what I can eat on both on or off days. I’m going to be working 7 days a week again now that there is snow on the mountains and still idiots on the planet so here is what I got

If I do more then one activity in a day I get to add another meal for the day so if I go rock climbing after the gym or biking or something I’ll get more. Looking up drop 1.5lb a week on this ideally

First time doing yoke carry this program don’t have a yoke so I’m doing it with a barbell, it’s not bad but i have to step off of a 20kg plate to use my mobile rack so stepping off of the plate is sketchy

Personally, on your high carb day id lower fats some. and if needed, raise carbs

My left bicep feels very bad and I have no idea why, when I expend my arm it burns at the insertion point of the long head which is weird cause I haven’t done anything that could have made me pull a bicep

That sucks man, be careful with it. I had a funny, burning in my pec 3 weeks ago after benching. Went away the next day, I thought! Worked myself up to near max on bench Saturday and noticed it hurting that night. Woke up with a black, torn pec on Sunday morning. Never felt it happen!

So few things to go along with today. I’ve sold my SBD belt it no longer fits my body the last hole wasn’t tight enough for deadlifts and it wrapping around my body twice sucked. So 2Pood nylon belt from here on out. I wanted to low bar today’s squat so I did 355x4 in the nylon belt @9RPE but my upper back lit up the second I racked it so I’m done low bar forever including competitions. High bar is more athletic so I’m a high bar squat regular grip bench and conventional power lifter who does more weightlifting then powerlifting :confused: yup I’m confused too having an identity crisis.

Hit up A7 for their Black Friday sale though and got the front squat shirt, compression shorts and deadlift slippers which I’ve been incredibly excited for since summer time. I’ve got 8 months till my next powerlifting meet and I’m pretty much at my weight goal now so I think I’m going to change from the performance program to the weightlifting and WOD program to tethe something different while I’m paying
 
Had a few workouts since last check in, don’t have my book handy and can’t recall all set for rep so high lights and lows

Tested

Power clean / push press
190lb new max, failed 205.
Front squat
285lb new max, failed 315lb
Snatch
155lb new max, failed 175lb
Clean&jerk
205lb new max, failed 225lb and injured my left rotator cuff in doing so.

Past week has been finding new 1rm in my programming, all the maxes are what I hit, some I hit more but the numbers I’ve posted are what I will be using for my programming as those are what I can confidently hit regularly. Found out how mortal I am in the past few weeks. My nutritions been on point I’ve followed my programming but I’m breaking day to day. My weight is 173lb in the morning and 176lb for training. I’ve got a powerlifting mock meet to find new 1rm for those too next week then I will be taking a week or two off of training to heal up before I go into a hybrid program with WODs at the end of each strength day programming. Realize this log is less then interesting for people pushing big weight and isn’t really a powerlifting log so I’m not going to update regularly anymore. I’ll post highlights but that’s about it.
 
deadlift 405 emom for 20 mins fabric belt and almost no form break down very happy with it. Weighed in this morning at 173lb finally starting to feel healthy again after that fall sickness that was tossed around been 3 weeks. Also did snatch work Friday night 135 emom 20 mins for form Work and I didn’t miss a single rep, unfortunately I’m inconsistent on were I hit my hips on the triple extension and I always catch in a power snatch but sink down so still gotta learn to dive under further so I don’t have to lift it so high

Thats impressive, don't know if i could hit that many deads at 405 haha
