That's funny stuff. I must say, he really can't speak well in public. However, I don't really think he's actually retarded, maybe he has trouble reading the teleprompter? I have a friend who is a Marine, who happens to be with the president all the time (security detail) and says Bush is a real down to earth guy, and doesn't stammer in personal conversations. Funny vid though.

What's so misunderstood is that Bush hardley ever uses a teleprompter. he's usually got notes in front of him and speaks extemporaneously (doesn't just read a script). All of these other speakers are reading a script. And your Marine friend is right...very down to earth guy. Very friendly and personable.
I have to ask this question though about those who really think he's stupid...does being able to speak extremely articulately make one a good leader? No, it doesn't. Is it a good trait to have? Of course. Clinton could (and still can) talk a nun out of her virginity (sorry, couldn't resist) but he sucked ass as a leader. Same can be said for many past so-called leaders. And there are some who were the absolute greatest leaders we've ever had and they weren't even educated.

Hitler was articulate and a very good public speaker. Then again, one could make the argument that he was in fact a great leader....afterall, he did convince an entire nation that they needed to help eradicate an entire people from the planet.

The statement that Bush is the worst President ever is not accurate historically. I suggest you look up the records of many other presidents before commenting about Presidential successes and failures. Everybody loved the guy when we bombed Afghanistan back into the stone age... but now that the fight is more difficult, and as the casualties climb, people start pointing the finger, and claim it's a conspiracy, we did it for the oil, we did it because GWB was finishing his fathers business, we did it because Saddam put a hit on Bush 1, we did it because Cheney said to because he would make millions off the oil with Halliburton. So all I ask is... which reason is it? What are all these hidden agendas? I'm not trying to offend anyone, or think that anyone is retarded, I just think you back up a claim like "We're in Iraq for the oil", with at least some reasonable evidentiary support.

America would be so much better if we simply conquered the entire Middle East. Our country's corporate giants could squeeze every bit of worth out of the area. Our government would benifit from the money, and lose mucho popularity points with the rest of the world (except Australia and Brittan). The common man's life would improve because gas prices should drop and economic stability should be more certain. The people of the Middle East would benefit because they don't know how to run a properly functioning government and act like nice kids. They'd be better off with corporate masters, just like we are.

I don't think Bush is a great Pres. I do like him though over any of the alternatives at the moment. That's the key here...he's the lesser of the evils for the most part.
I just wish that now that he doesn't have to worry about being re-elected he would find his balls and wipe the middle east off the face of the earth. Yes, this is an unconventional war but we sure as hell could take over that whole place with conventional means. We need to quit acting like a bunch of pussies and be the lion we're supposed to be!
