CA Prop 8 & DOMA

As someone that has served in the military, I think the fact that we just struck down DOMA is a crime against humanity and I wish that same-sex couples currently in the military that have served for years would be able to sue the federal government for deprivation of literally HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars in housing allowances, medical benefits, etc. while they have been in service, yet not allowed to be married.
