Camping anyone?

Just bought a 25ft trailer.. transient camping around here is still a no go due to covid, so I put it on a seasonal site a couple of hours from home. We've been going up there on weekends (just got back).. looking forward to some vacation time soon.

We haven't gone in a few years but we are very familiar with it. Canoe trips on the Saco have always been fun, although it's getting overpopulated by ignorant youth as the years turn. Trash is getting left and it's reprehensible. I grew up with military folk around, was integrated into cub and boy scouts, ROTC friends so policing your area was a normal: bring more home with you than what you came with.

Not the case anymore

We might get a yearly spot to park our trailer at after construction is done. There are a ton of campgrounds near the ocean, looking at that option. Few grand a year which isn't too bad imo

No Ocean around me, but lots of lakes and rivers.. Northern Ontario is a beautiful place to spend a summer!

Love it, but dont do it enough.

I love off grid tenting type camping, the wife still wants a bed, power, bathroom, shower, and even TV lol.

I am also starting to get into kayak overnights, living on the coast with many islands to spend the night on

I hadn't been camping in YEARS! Totally forgot how many good memories I have from being a kid camping. It was great, my kids had a blast as well. My wife and I didn't argue at all the whole weekend and it was nice being unplugged from social media. Finally got to shoot a couple of my newer guns I hadn't used yet. Had a lot of fun with the ar15 and the Springfield M1A.

It’s all about the memories! Either it’s sitting around the campfire telling stories, roasting marshmallows, fixing something or doing a project in the RV, playing my with guns, hiking or playing uno with my daughters. All about the memories brother.
