Yes, that is something very common. There is some talk about desensitization, however, that concern is generally when using large doses for a prolonged period of time.

If you’re using the amount in the studies to maintain function / reduce atrophy (was it 750iu to 2000iu per week? Something close to that), I wouldn’t be concerned.

Should HCG not be enough to maintain sperm count on TRT, you can use HMG to drive spermatogenesis closer to desired date of conception (perhaps 9 months out from when you want to start trying?).

It can and it is recommended if you ever want to come off and make it easier or keep some fertility and healthier testes.
Make sure you put the HCG in slin pins and freeze them if you use one HCG vial for more than two weeks because it starts losing potency after two weeks.
