Can I run hgh by itself?

So I have a glucose monitor arriving tomorrow and plan on keeping an eye on my levels while on 4ius of hgh starting tomorrow.

There's pretty much little to no sugar if any really in my diet, so would this mean I could get away without using insulin most likely because of this?

Obviously I have metformin too, but want to see how my results come back without introducing it if it isn't needed to be added, and if so I'll start the lowest dosage and taper up.

If my glucose levels come back out of range then obviously I'll discontinue usage and not bother again with it.

I am not understanding the necessary connection with gh and insulin you seem to be making.
Hgh can make you diabetic I have seen and been told without the use of insulin.

Apparently part of the reason why people run insulin once you go above 5ius.

Not sure how true this actually is, which is why I've been keeping my sugar low ready to start it.

You shouldnt need slin until above 15iu, definitely not at anywhere close to 4iu.
That's great to know then.

Been misinformed as I was worried it would make me diabetic like on 4ius.

Might aswell just keep an eye on my glucose levels like I do with my blood pressure to be safe than sorry for a while just to see if everything comes back in range and stable.

If you are concerned about BG and insulin resistance take morning BG reading before eating in the morning for a week or so to get a baseline. Then after starting GH continue to do the same and track any trends.

To minimize BG issues: Large/medium/carb heavy meals should be finished at least 1hr before sub-q injection, small meals can be had right before injection, I prefer to keep all food as far away from injection as possible. If I need to eat before injection I do protein powder and a light/moderate amount of fast digesting carbs like banana. After injection no carbs for at least 4 hrs.

No it doesn't make you diabetic. Find me some information that it does.(A medical journal)

He did say he will keep an eye on it, throughout.

How much do you take and is it on a continual basis?
3-5 ius of log with pre and post workout meals is enough to give my pancreas enough of a break to stay in the 90s bg.

But it's heavily dependant on carb intake. For me around 600g of carbs is about the extent of what my natural insulin can tollerate when using 6iu of gh

@Spaceman Spiff is right. The operative phrase is "insulin resistant." HGH can induce insulin resistance, hence the introduction/addition of insulin. Being obese can also make a person "insulin resistant," but reversed in most cases after weight-loss.

I have a theory Tirz is aiding in controlling the high gh dose, but I havent came to a conclusion yet.
Likely Tirz is controlling BG as that is one of it's "designed" purposes.

OP, what is the reason you want to run HGH by itself?

Just to check have I done this right?

my insulin syringe only goes up too 30 units/0.3ml

20241128_220427.webpI put 100 units of bac water in the vial with the hgh powder and every 5 units would be 1 iu of hgh?

So if I want 4 ius of hgh then I would draw up too 20 units correct?

That's true if it's a 20iu vial.
It's a 10 iu vial.

So have I just pinned 2 ius instead of 4?

How many units of bac water then do I need, so every 5 units is 1 iu of hgh?

Thought I calculated this right as 100 units is 1ml which I put 100 units into the vial, then I drew up too 20 units to get 4 ius of hgh?

So like 5 would be 1 iu, 10 would be 2 ius etc mixed with 100 units of bac water in the 10 iu vial?

I pinned 20 units mixed with 100 units/1ml with a 10iu vial.

So how much have I actually pinned?

5 times 20 units is 100 units, the amount of water you put in.

5 times 4iu would be 20iu total. But it's only a 10iu vial.

So yes, you took half of what you intended.

Better than twice what you intended.

What I did, when I started using peptides, was triple check my calculations using different methods to ensure I didn't make a mistake. Eventually it becomes easy to make the calculations on the fly.
