Can LE be a source?

I got to thinking about this last night... Can LE set themselves up as a source and solicit people to buy from them and then bust buyers when we send payment ?

Or is that entrapment? Or does it matter?
 
I believe they can. If they crack a source then keep shop open to see who they can lure in to the dragnet. I would say that is possible
 
Yes they can, they have done with crack / heroin users a number of times. But usually that's reserved for in person transactions / cleaning up bad areas and what not.

Once you start doing it across state lines, you need to be federal and things change quite a bit. Using it as a gateway into busting a large ring? Sure. End users with a dozen vials? Very unlikely. The costs do not justify the means. What are they going to confiscate from you, maybe a car or some designer clothes? If you have a high value of assets, then I would be concerned.
 
Crazy, but probably so. Just think about prostitution stings. LE put a pretty undercover female out their walking the streets just to see if a fish bites. ...

If you solicit or attempt to cause or cause someone to break the law...

Then yes...they can

This is what I agree with. Unless you're from a tiny town and LE has nothing better to do, I wouldn't worry about it. And even then it would most likely be face to face transactions. They bust johns getting prostitutes to clean up the city. Same with heroin and other hard drugs. I would be worried if I were a supplier, but not an end user. Even if they did bust the end user, it would be to flip them into a CI to get the big fish. Plus crossing interstate lines would be for the feds, I don't think feds would waste their time on a few vials of aas.
 
That's why you don't do business with a ugl that has been scrutinized by LE. A few come to mind.

The gov't does whatever the fuck they feel like doing. Feds have taken over web sites and email only sources countless times to rope people in. This is a matter of public record. You "got to thinking."?
In the early 90's the Web was like the Wild West(i say this often). The feds were nowhere near ready...no cyber feds. DXM, Gear, RC chems of all sorts.
Bathsalts are RC's we were buying and selling before the feds cracked online rc comopanies. MXE, mephedrone, etc...had em brought into Sheridan, Or. in 2010. 2011. I was passing out "spice" to the different races and collecting for "Pink AVVy". He's at drugforums.c** One of the bigshots there. He did 10plus for LSD manufacturing....had 2 Pages of it for Coachella this past yr. One of members sampled a sheet. Fuck it.
 
"Pages" and "Sheets" are terms for quantities of blotter 'cid. 9 sheets(900 tabs) per Page...100 tabs per sheet. I had 2 pgs left after Coachella. Sorry for the rec talk...I take Liberties at times.

Had a bro when I was younger that did dead tour. Hed come home between tours, phish, the cheesestringincident, the dead, all the festivals etc and bring back like 5 grams and lay books. This was the first time I shot liquid. Though I wasn't coming home after that. Anyeays, acid, yes, good. Great money there. Hope you're making a good thing of the rest.
 
True story for info only. In 2004, I had a good friend purchase gear online (we both bought our gear from the same source) and when the mail carrier delivered the package, once he signed for it and took possesion, the so called mail carrier stopped the door with his foot showed his badge and had two others with him. Needless to say the delivery was a set up/sting and he was charged and convicted. He was sentenced to two years, he was released after 18 months.

Of course they can, they themselves use CI's to get close, make a couple controlled buys. Then make some more and more. Then they get introduced sometimes indirectly. Now the r purchasing, all the time portraying a buyer/dealer whatever. Building a case. Sometimes the case leads them to a bigger fish. Then they bust small fish source and flip em now use him as CI. So on and so forth.

So ur asses better be careful. U better not be buying from anyone local. Face to face shit. Don't be that guy!

And sometimes it that big bruiser in the sheriffs car that orders for his own use. Don't have to worry bout them. They need it too.:)
 
They can but highly unlikely they will as states cross lines is a fed thing and well the reality is they don't look like heroes catch a few random internet buyers. They want the suppliers.

Now local LE would look like a hero cleaning up people in a city. Its different priority system. DEA has to catch big timers to keep their pay increases coming in on the war on drugs aka that money pit tax money is wasted on.
