Can we get some clarity on Made-In-China suppliers?

Here's the situation: Alibaba got stiffed by the government and no longer ship pharma products.

Made in China is similar only no reviews and no buyer protection.

What they do have is "Audited Suppliers" which are supposedly verified by the SGS, an international audit verification industry.

The supplier I purchased from was:

Who checked all the boxes of being diamond and audited. Their audit is verified on the SGS website (SGS.com) as having been conducted in June of this year.

Is there any way (being China and its reputation) this audit report could be counterfeit?

I ask as their listed address doesn't show up on google maps.

since most of the Chinese pharmaceutical companies work because they give a large percentage to someone, and most of them are not legal. some companies are in most cases underground. I say this because I lived in China...China is a big underground world

This company has an audit report?

There is a corresponding looking building on google maps, looks corresponding at least.

Hardly counterfeited (?)

I saw once a real company that officially sent their samples in their official box, with hologram prints and so on. I was very surprised because many Chinese companies usually do everything secretly.

This real company…and they had all the international certificates .. I'm certainly not an expert on documents and the Chinese are experts on fakes)))

Okay what are you saying, they were counterfeit?

They were a real company that used official stamping to send real gear?

Or counterfeit?

Or used the photo you attached as a front for being a "real" company when in reality it was Mr Wrong is his garden shed?

yes, they did everything officially, all seals were stamps

Correction to this, they do show up on google maps.

So with the company in question, the photo's on their audit report do in fact match the audit address location on google maps:

Google map show the entrance, notice the sign to the left, pillars and building to the right.

Profile photo from audit report, sign to left, pillars, building entrance house to the right.

The question now is is it possible they used another building/company as a front for their illegitimate masquerade?
The location on google maps is also noted as being their company,

Harbin Jixianglong Biotec Co., Ltd.

They did everything officially and looked flawless but you knew they were impersonators?

I'm sorry it's just you kind of make it sound like a real company sent quality product under their official signage..... and that surprised you as you expected them to be more covert/underground.

I'm not sure the point you're making?

That it's possible to get genuine behavior from Chinese suppliers after all?

Despite our tendency to believe it's all underground and counterfeit?

Or you're just trying to highlight that based on your experience, fake companies go to great lengths to present as being legitimate?

Including using audit pictures of other buildings and passing them off as their own, using official stamps that don't actually belong to them etc?

Was this company you're referring to listed on alibaba or made-in-china?

I found them, yes, it seems on the made in china website.

The company in your picture is Xi'an Chance Biotech.

They're not listed on made-in-china but I found this,

They sell seeds?

they sell everything.

I feel so much more elucidated on the nature of Chinese online audited sales now.

They ship with holograms of other company names that in actual fact belong to them.

They're products are illegitimate but real, which is a pleasant surprise.

And they're above ground yet operate underground, despite using above ground protocol.

.......

I'm glad we cleared that up.

"Is there any way"... I have worked a good number of years in developing countries high on the corruption ranking. In one particular place, to my direct knowledge, there was no problem to bribe the SGS inspectors to certify quality in the petroleum and heavy industries sectors.
I'm not saying that's possible in China, nor that it's common for SGS. But sometimes it's easier to just get products falsely certified than to go through all the hassle of faking certifications.
