You have to pay for it out of pocket, obviously, since it’s not covered by the province (in Ontario anyway) but it’s not that expensive unless you get a full panel done.

Does bloodwork through a naturopath go into your medical records at all? I assume they gave you a req to take to a lifelabs or where ever you wanted? I really don't mind paying for it. Did you just look up a random naturopath and ask for blood work with all the things you wanted?

I think that it’s just the referring doc that has access to the results. My doc has never said anything, but he also knows about my gear use. I get my bloods done through him as much as possible, but he can only justify so much to OHIP.

I’d definitely ask that question beforehand because I’m not 100% sure.
