I’d be absolutely amazed if it was one of the official reps who sent the package. They all know better than to do shit that risks involving US three letter agencies, and they’re not going to risk their entire business just to sell a few thousand dollars worth of gear to Chris Bumstead.

The structure of labs really lends itself easily to this excuse though. "Canadian superlabs will never ship to the US". It wasn't the lab, it was their rep. It wasn't an official rep, it was a reseller. It wasn't a reseller, it was just one of their friends!

You know what I mean? I'm pretty positive Cbum doesn't have to get his gear from a friend of a reseller who gets it from a rep who gets it from the owner.

Ultimately this is all a waste of breath. It was very stupid to ship this gear across the border to melissa's name at chris' address via fedex. That's all there is to it. Whoever mailed it wasn't smart. The recipients weren't being smart. Everyone fucked up. But it's unique circumstances. I'm sure a lot of labs would happily break their usual rules if Cbum asked them for gear. PayPal? No problem. Fedex intl priority? Yup you got it big guy.

Randomly inspected? Everything you send to the U.S. from Canada gets inspected in some capacity. Couriered packs are under even more scrutiny...

Chances are that if the shipper was dense enough to send the package via FedEx, he also wasn’t smart enough to pack things discreetly, and the list of stuff in the package was not insubstantial.

No kidding. That’s all we need is to have the US agencies put pressure on our LE to crack down because they think that this is common practice, since they have a raging boner for steroids for some reason.

It’s really not common at all because it’s not worth the risk and sources up here don’t want to stir the hornet’s nest and fuck up a good thing. Importing to the US is nothing but trouble and anyone with any semblance of common sense realizes that.

I feel like even the CPC hates O'toole he has the personality of a wet rag but I don't think it's gonna be a landslide, CPC won the popular vote last time.
