I hear alot of diffrent ways to go about this pre contest. I would like to here what has worked for you do and donts.
 
In the days leading to the show, the hours before getting on stage or right before? All depends what you're asking
 
No doubt man. Try to think of it as the closer to the stage you are the faster the carbs used should be. For a Saturday show if you reintroduce carbs on Wednesday or Thursday just use what you used all prep whether it be rice or sweet potatoes or oats then maybe the morning of the show if weight class isn't an issue that whole grain or whole wheat waffle is a good idea and then an hour from when you'll be on you can start playing with those sugary carbs
