Cardio...befor or after weights

Can someone tell me what the benifits are to doing cardio after weight training rather than visa versa.

Please tell me the physical reasons rather than "you'll have more energy for weight training".

I heard something like, once you in a fat burning phase, if you lift you will break muscle tissue down rather than build it? who knows it may be bullshit.
