Clomid Alone for Hormone Boost?

While Clomid has been successfully used in those with legitimate Low T,
it serves little purpose in Mesos youngsters with normal TT levels.

Clomid will NOT result in supra-physiologic TT levels!

There was a dude on here that took clomid for months to boost his natty levels and I think it worked.

I'll never be able to find the thread though.

Yep even those with "normal" TT may see an increase but the changes noted are NOT clinically
significant unless "low T" is present.

Think about it someone has a baseline TT of say 550ng/dl and starts Clomid and increases his TT to say 850ng/dl.

While such a change would most certainly be statistically significant it's NOT clinically significant, in that such a change will NOT result in enhanced performance", per se.

Compare that to some fella w a low T of say 150ng/dl who notes a similar change and reaches a best case scenario of around 850ng/dl!

Well in my case I tested at 480-515 three times over 1.5 years before starting clomid. I had minor low T symptoms. On 12.5 mg every third day my numbers increased to between 700-800, a few tests were 650-680. I noticed the difference with my workouts and everything else was worse. Libido, energy, mood etc, all in the tank. So after 2.5 years I just went on test. If you wanna call is cruising, that's fine. I don't plan to blast. But for me, 500 was not high enough. I need to be between 800-900 to feel like my old self. I don't regret it. I might five years from now, who knows, but I just took care of the inevitable. I'm in this for anti-aging purposes, not bodybuilding, although I do train hard. I'll never take oral steroid or do a huge blast. I respond exceptionally well to a low dose of testosterone.

The point is there's no MEDICAL justification for TT supplementation at a level above 400ng/dl and undescores the difference between legitimate
TRT, and the self prescribing behaviors of those who believe otherwise.

And a test level of 1000 is going to be no different in terms of progress than a test level of 850....

Agreed, but a multi fold increase can make a significant difference in folk w legitimate "low T ".

And what are chances the OP at an age of "25", or is it "26" suffers from low T, almost ZIPPO, in the absence of AIH.

No arguments here. He never states low T. Just wants a "performance" boost

When off clomid I was around 480-510 last labs. Wasn't cutting it for me. I was on Clomid for 2.5 years and felt like shit. So it was time to give it up. Yes, I went on TRT at around 500 naturally. And I do not regret that decision.
How old are you?
You might not regret it now but someday you might.

I think "NOT clinically significant" would be the take away from this thread.

Save your money OP.
Clomid has a place in all this shit but it is certainly not the answer for your goals.

Even if your testosterone levels double(not likely) that doesn't mean your going to double in size or in strength.

Totally agree with the non-significant increment in T levels, whether it's on a body-composition level or psychological one.

Before clomid I was at 600 TT with average free T.
During Clomid I was at 1100 TT and free T 25% above top range: however I could see no physical change and only a minor increase in mental drive even after 6 months "on"

I'm 50. So do what, go off, settle back in the 400-500 range, feel like all the other old fat, middle aged, gripping like women 50 year old men I just saw at my 30 year HS reunion? You mean regret missing out on that? LOL. No offense, but if you saw this ole cat at the gym, you'd guess I'm 35. I am careful, knowledgeable and safe with what I do. Also, my own previous doctor at the "Men's clinic, told me, when he puts his patients on TRT, he aims to keep them between 800-900. So why the hell would I stay at 450-500 for another 5 years and then what? Go see him and do what I am doing now? Aging "gracefully" for those 5-10 years?

You have to stay ahead of the curve with this aging thing my friend. Once you realize things have slowed and you try and play catchup, it's too late. You won't catch up. This was m health, my call and I do not regret it. I feel better than I have since I was 35. I act responsible and careful with what I do and want to stay atop my game for as long as possible.

Sorry I thought you were the 25 yr old.
My Bad.

70 year old man taking 12.5 mg every other day for a couple of years. Just had my blood tested and testosterone was 695, highest I ever tested. E2 was under 20. Seems to work well for me. I do use cialis and cannabis for sexual purposes and find they all work just fine for me.
