Compounding SERM/SARM Oral Solutions?

I know about the premade oral solution carriers like Ora-Plus. But all of them have preservatives I don't want. A lot of online shops sell solutions of PG, PEG-X00, water, ethylene alcohol depending on the molecular weight of the compound. How do you know what to use? Any books or articles that would explain it to a non-chemist?
