Police say a naked, 300-pound bodybuilder savagely beat a Southern California couple at their home, leaving them in critical condition.

The Sun of San Bernardino (http://bit.ly/uen2Vt ) says 22-year-old Ruben Arzu apparently was under the influence of steroids and other drugs, and it took four police officers, two stun gun blasts and four sets of handcuffs to restrain him.

Police say the couple came home late Saturday to find Arzu naked on the front porch of their home in Colton.

When Arzu was confronted by the 35-year-old husband, police say the bodybuilder attacked the man, causing major head trauma.

The man's wife called 911. Police say Arzu then picked her up and threw her around, causing facial injuries and multiple cuts to her head.

Arzu was booked on suspicion of attempted homicide.

Of all the possible drugs that could have explained/contributed to such bizarre, violent behavior, the first one that comes to mind for police is "steroids"?!

Officers say they suspect he had been taking steroids and was under the influence of other drugs.

Thats not steroids, thats most likely methamphetamines that just happened to have been taken by some dickwad who used juice.

so if i heard this right this morning, one or both of the victims have been released. not sure when. heard it on a popular morning radio show during what i think is called "bizzare file" or something. strange news is the segment. not a bad show and im sure they were just reporting the news as theyre not investigators or reporters. but. naked man under the influence of steroids. assaults couple in home. takes several officers to subdue him. some roid rage jokes and i guess its obvious to them why this had happened. steroids. some more of the story and again. under the inluence of steroids. oh. and other drugs. perpetuating the misinformation and keeping the snowball rolling.

When muscular people act bizarrely, then it must be the steroids.

See this if you haven't already:

must be the steroids. right. but ive never really cycled.
and dont think less of me but ive smoked pcp. along with what is seeming to be every other drug on the planet . and ive never acted like that. never seen anyone act like that. and part of the problem may be the drug and sometimes you dont always know what your getting. and pcp is weird shit i think. and some people just do too much or theyre just prone to bad reactions.
but really it seems the press has no accountability. and they sensationalize. and everyone already knows pcp is bad so its a non story. steroids are the new "bastard child" like you said. and without good reason. or any reason. and with the current sports doping histeria it sells the story. and something else im thinking.

and who is reporting the stories. the blog alludes to reporters taking the word of a da with an agenda. a political agenda against steroids built on fear im guessing to garner more votes. but what about reporters with bias. or on an antidoping payroll. i dont ever hear many positive stories on steroids of performance enhancing. its always cheating, dangerous or criminal.

a lie travels around the world faster than the truth can get its boots on. i read that somewhere recently. seems applicable.
