So accountability update for the past week.

As mentioned switched to PL and liking it so far. Quite different than BB. Doing this in a deficit. I was doing 3 mile interval sprints then first two weeks of my cut 3x a week. I found I was dropping weight fast, 3lbs first week and 2.4lbs second week. This week 1.6lb loss so still losing and a bit slower.

Started cut at 225.6 and current weight 218.6.

Weekly check in.

PL training going well, mind set change is coming. Still working bugs out and getting form down better. Haven't done a dumbell press yet all under the bar. Last week sleep was an issue and couldn't get set up properly on bench but ground it out and paying the price for it, possible bicep tendinitis. Weights for the most part feeling good and hopefully climbing.

Weigh in this morning 216.2lbs. Total loss on cut has been 9.4lbs which is still too quick as it's only been 4 weeks. Gonna up my carbs again which will help slow it and add some energy and recovery support.
 
Not much new to post this week. Squated 405lbs on Monday just not quite deep enough. Had an interview Wednesday after work so missed the gym that day. Then I got sick so have been in bed trying to get over it. Feeling somewhat better today. Weighed in this morning up 0.8lbs assume it was the carb cravings I have had being sick lol.
 
Checking in and keeping this thread somewhat updated.

Weight down 2lbs from last week but I also gained 1.5lbs over the course of the previous 2 weeks.. total loss so far 10lbs, current weight 215.6lbs

Surprised for the loss because of a rough week with eating right, Halloween and I even had to eat out on the way to a meeting without a lot of options, and ate McDonalds. It's been over a year since had that shit lol.

Really liking powerlifting, or I should say trying to be a powerlifter. Still working the bugs out and getting my programming down right, I doubt I will ever have it perfect. Hit a PR on deadlift last week, 425lbs finally no straps, using hook grip these days. Video in my PL log. Have a nasty cold last 2 weeks just doesnt want to go away, and dealing with bicep tendon issues, I am just working through it and trying to fix the causes. I think trying low bar squat is the main culprit for the bicep tendon issues.

Started at a new gym last week too. Old School BB/PL gym. Steel weights, different *edit* bars*, loud music, DL platform, lots of weight. Owners are BB's and PL's, one is IFBB and great to deal with helping as much as they can. They have little mini meets at the gym too. So far love this gym
 
Weight is up a half pound this week. Diet has not been perfect but not bad either. A couple cheats here and there.

Hit a PR on bench this week 225, which for someone never benching under a bar in the last couple years is a win for me. Started working on depth for squats, box squats to a milk crate, hoping muscle memory squatting deep over the next few weeks. Also changed up stance on deadlift this past week and working that. Narrower this time 6-8 inches apart at the heels, see how this goes.

Still having the arm pain issues, taking g some supps and gonna change up grip positions to see if this helps. Next step may have to be see a PT, looking at Active release therapy too
