I think not cutting for your first meet is pretty much universally agreed upon by powerlifters everywhere.

Like I said in the text, just eat, train, and cycle normally. If say a month out it's not looking like an easy water cut to 220lbs is possible just bulk like mad till meet day.
Nothing changing right now as discussed. Although had a bit of a smile at the thought of a dirty bulk lol.

Will need to keep eye on it as I will need a bigger singlet if moving up. Probably a 7 to 10 day delivery at best so will need to be on it...

Last 2 bulks I have done
One was 500 test 100 drol front and back, the other 600 test both at about 4k cals and couldnt get over 227 so who knows, I may still be good
 
Cant wait for August to end. Spent evey waking hour not working last week and all day every day this weekend helping a buddy reno. Rolled my fucking ankle Saturday coming off a ladder. Hurts on the inside just under the ankle when I bend it or roll it, no issues walking on it.

What to say been a rough and busy month. Didnt do what I wanted or was supposed to do in the gym.

I Was talking with Perrin and realized that I have 3 weeks left of off season, 2 weeks before I start my blast and 4 weeks before I start my 10 week prep.

Not sure exactly were my motivation went. Assume lack of urgency, deployment, life issues, work issues all played a roll.

Now with a time crunch I am feeling more motivated. This week still wont be much just getting ready for the last 3 week block. Today just gonna bench and work up to 2-3 rep numbers and see how it is feeling. Tomorrow going to just pull some heavy singles get cns ready for next week which is my DL peak to get my starting number for prep.

I feel you about the motivation, bro. Being in this cut for so long, numbers stalling or going down, has really taken a toll on me. Trying to stay motivated by the changing body image, but that’s never been a TRUE motivation of mine.

Squat 370
Bench 280

Looks.like bench should be on track for a 300 plus at meet

Squat is lagging but always my Achilles heel of all 3 lifts, we will see what I can get this to for meet

Deadlift seems on track for 500 plus at meet which is good since doing sumo this go round

10 week prep starts next Sunday
 
Since I am going to continue with sumo, I thought to try out a deadlifting shoe, as opposed to my Chucks. So just ordered Notorious Lift Stealth Sumo Sole Gen 2s. See if these help any with grip and feeling nice and solid to the floor.
 
Body weight down 1.6lbs currently 220 even this am. 3 weeks in in blast so now the hormones have leveled off and stable with 300mg every 3 days averages out to 700mg a week. Plus proviron every day, halo on peak days. Start Var in October
