CPAP MACHINE

I need one ASAP. Live a long ass way from doctors and have no insurance. Have plenty of cash. I need any advice from folks that have the knowledge. Been looking at different machines. Such a drastic price range. Tried ordering an automatic device to eliminate the need for an rx but couldn’t get it done. Any help on ordering and advice on a good machine would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Before my dad passed away I found some of his various breathing machine stuff used on ebay fairly cheap and we ordered it from there. Worth a look if you know what you need.

Would think an auto adjusting machine would not require a setting from the factory? Why I was going that route.

It would need a range setting, Google second wind cpap, they don't bust balls about a prescription, Resmed autoset unit of some type is what I use

Never used one but I’m so tired of being tired! My blood pressure is through the roof upon waking as is my beats per minute. I will let you know how it goes. Should be here in a week.

I’ll second that. Please do a follow up on this. I’ve been needing one for years but I can’t stand fucking seeing multiple doctors that I probably couldn’t afford either way.

Wonder if they still require you to sleep at a god damn sleep center for testing? I wouldn’t sleep a wink there it’d be a waste of my damn money

I will keep you posted brother. I would have paid 100 dollars for faster shipping but it wasn’t an option. Check your blood pressure FIRST thing upon waking. It might scare you. I know my readings have.

I use a resmed also. Works very well apap but yeah, needed set high and low parameters to work within. I use a full face mask cuz I'm a mouth breather. Kinda sucks but I feel better for the most part

I can’t wait to try it. So sick of waking up like I’ve been “working” while I’m “asleep”.

I'm supposed to wear one but can't stand the tube out front as I sometimes sleep on my stomach.. recently the wife got one with the air line running up top the head so it doesn't interfere so much and I've considered trying it, but don't want to go thru that whole sleep clinic thing again.. :/

Hopefully you got a , adjustable. One called a ACPAP it will automatically adjust based on your episodes you are having thru the night. Definitely a game changer when you get one.

I received my machine. Tried it one night wearing the nose piece only(should have gotten the full mask). Guess I’m a mouth breather. Lol. Woke up at 2 am and checked my blood pressure. It was 117/77. Woke up at 5 am for work and it was 150/100 !!! Last night I had a stuffy nose so didn’t even attempt to wear the nose piece. Will post up my results when I try the full mask. I will say I woke up feeling better after the first night wearing it but still baffled about my blood pressure being so high upon waking.
