really been thinking about trying to become a certified personal trainer. Does any have any experience getting certified and which one? I've been thinking about Issa

I think the "cert" pretty much means nothing. I know certain big gyms you have to have it though.
I'd care more about the trainer's reputation as a competitor/athlete than a peice of paper.

There aren't really any big gyms around my area other than pf. Issa is what one of the trainers at my gym has but she is also a bikini competitor

I have NASM. Online course with a couple in person meetings that are optional. Very informational, and easy if you understand how the muscles work. Good to have if your into fitness.

The more important question: Can you sell? Any of the top 5 certs are good enough to start. Big gym chains seem to be partial NASM where I am located. But if you can't grind/charm/close you will always struggle as a CPT. It's similar to being a real estate agent-- it just doesn't matter where you went to school to pass the test

This is 100% true. Some gyms dont even require a cert. You can go to the gym you want to work at and see what they require. You could even start at a gym that doesnt require a cert to see how you do.

My first few months I didnt do too good because my gym doesnt give you clients and finding my own was hard. But just wearing the gym shirt and helping people everyday you can make clients pretty easily.
