Well said and agreed, pretty tough to beat Stan and especially GL. To me it’s not all about saving a dollar or two but to try and stay under the radar and/or out of Prison. Lol

I wouldn't worry about security issues from QSC. Otherwise, I wouldnt be ordering so many things from them.

To make people aware a FIRST TIME customer received a package that was sealed very well with very light weight products in there.


This appeared to have happened in transit

He said the package of the bottom tab was opened and there was a stamp that said "Received without contents at" stamp. The date was for a day during transit.

He said it was smashed open or someone opened it. There was a tear across the front of the box.

I will be ensuring that the package is very well sealed. I have never seen this happen with a customer.

This was the first time I have seen it out of all the customers, I will be refunding this particular customer the total payment and accept loss the missing products.

In the future, I will not be refunding for situations like this unless it was clearly my fault.

@fike How often does this happen? I've only heard of one other source with a customer claiming this. I don't understand why usps will still deliver a box that gets damaged and opened in transit.

All packages that arrive to your local PO show up in a large box that sits on top of a pallet. All the smaller packages are just tossed into the large box at the processing plant, so you may have 50 small packed that weigh anywhere from 13 oz to 5 lbs on the bottom with 50 larger packages ranging from 25 lbs to 70 lbs stacked on top of them causing the contents of the small packages on bottom to be smashed and destroyed or the packaging torn and the contents lost or just hanging out in the bottom with no way of knowing where the hell the contents is. When the packages are distributed to their respective routes the clerk will see the damaged package and to save their asses from being labeled as thieves and being liable, they stamp some bull shit on there.

Moral of the story is the workers at the processing plants do not give a shit about our packages and a stamp saves their ass legally and they have to deliver it so their scans will show it as delivered so that particular post office won’t get in hot water with their district.

I see we have another postal mofo amidst us. Haha. That is true in most cases, but the plant in Hattiesburg, MS, still has some manual sorting of packages and flats at times. I only know because I was forced to fill in during peak season a few years ago. It was ridiculous. People really don’t care when they get to 10 hours and are ready to home. 95% percent of the time it happens as you said. That said, machines truly don’t give a shit. Once at your city's station it's all hands. Packages are hand tosses into giant rolling carts that hold 150 packages. Then by the driver tossed into his truck. Lots of stuff pops open. Lots of stuff tears on truck doors, on usps plastic boxes ect. Doors sometimes get slammed on packages. Then stuff gets dropped too as the mailman is tired as fuck working no days off and 12 hour shifts on some days. So I hear from my postal worker buddies.
