OK fellas. It's been five weeks since I started taking Robinul Forte. I take 2mg once a day on a very empty stomach. Right before bed or An hour + before breakfast.

The medication really started working on the third day. My sweating overall is down about 70%. I took a week off after a month straight and the dripping sweat came back in full force. Yesterday I refilled my prescription for 30$ & change. Today my sweating has been down 40% already.

Side effects -

1) Dry Mouth
2) Must be taken on an empty stomach for full benefits.
3) @ 30$ it's not cheap, but worth not sweating!

If you suffer from excessive body, face, hands or feet sweating I strongly recommend you give this medication a try. It really works. I believe 3mg daily in two doses would control 85%+ of my sweating.

I don't know man. Sweating is a natural response by the body. I would be more concerned with finding out the WHY. There are those that argue that SWEAT GLANDS are like a "third kidney". In the past I discussed with a couple of docs who quicky bellow bullshit, but I still disagree. I recall some of the shit that I have sweated out in the past when on extensive slim down diets which incorporate heavy cardio, and there is no way that this is just "water" coming out of my skin. Consider some of the nasty staining associated with sweat...! I kind of find it hard to believe that women still apply antiperspirant to underarms considering the proximity to breast tissue and limp nodes under arms. But then again, "medical science" says, "all good".. RIGHT... LOL

I too can sweat up a storm just standing around, and more so now that I am unfit lately. I've met a lot of guys playing racquetball over the years to compare sweat production with. The general gist is that its genetic and a life long component of said, which may increase as we get out of shape. Its the body's way to cool off. I speculate its going to be thyroid related if anything. The question is why is the call for sweating increased...

Consider, ESPECIALLY if you are stacked with muscle currently. This is going to generate a lot more body heat and would easily be a natural response to cool this down... it just seems like putting your body through a exogenous substance for no reason to me. And when we already subject it to enough...:)

It's genetic in my case. Started during my teenage years when I was very skinny. It's called hyperhidrosis and is a recognized medical condition. Mine is generalized, as in full body. Some people only get excessive sweat on their palms or feet. I'd rather piss out the water than full body sweat it out.

I hear ya. but still man / genetic is GENETIC for a reason and the way you are programmed to RUN. One sweaty bastard to another- and I KNOW A TON OF SWEATY BASTARDS, i feel ya. Mine has worsened with poor conditioning. So that says to me that its either excessive FAT/COOLING related, and possibly cardio implications, as I can barely get to the fridge..

But you are saying that even prior to muscle or fat, you were sweating full out at this rate even in teens?? I knew a few of those too. Ya know, in retrospect, you make me realize that my sweating really did not increase with lean muscle which I maxed out at 25 pretty strong and about 15% BMI, so mine is only fat and conditioning related. In fact, I may have run just as cool and dry as ever at 25. Still - I cant say for sure because I was on 120 degree tennis courts at 19 and I know i had to be sweating... LOL

Still I relate to what you are saying with the FACE SWEATING. I never had this till recently though, and it does pose a problem I agree..

I wonder if perspiring qualifies as "diuretic action"...?

Funny Story. I went on a job interview for a sales gig that sounded kind of interesting. I have never had a lot of success working for others, and I ping Corporate America's radar MILES OFF.. LOL .. While this was not C.A., it was a medium sized private company with a significant HR factor. I was already cutting my grain as I swore off job interviews a long time ago.
In fact, I have contemplated starting a company to IMPOSTOR INTERVIEW for fee with the EXPRESS INTENT of heckling alone/ and for SPITE I will perform plenty of "Pro-Bono"..:p:confused::D
So anyways, I was sitting there having gone from playing ball with a VP, to interviewing with this front line H.R. Biochhe from hell. While I retained my cool smart ass demeanor, I realized about 25 mins in, that I had SOAKED MY FREAKING SHIRT AND COAT...!! Lol... I mean SOAKED. So I hold things up interrupting her exclaiming, "hey, you didn't tell me I was sitting here swimming in myself!!!". She kinda sat there straight faced. Next thing you know I stand up and take my coat off and SLING IT AT THE WALL JUST FLINGING SWEAT ALL OVER IT... L...... O...... L........ Exclaiming - "woooh, that's much better!"..... She pretended to interview me for the final 10 mins while I came to my senses smugging up and wondering what the hell I was doing there.. LOL Walking out the lobby everyone was starring at the guy with the soaking shirt as I exclaimed how she wore me out... No - I did not hear back on that one...:mad::p;)

Great story bro. That's like DNP level sweat there.

Yeah, after about 14 y/o I started extreme underarm sweating profusely. By age 17 it was full body. Face, back, & shoulders were ridiculous. Around 20/21 I started using OTC Certain-Dry & then Rx Drysol. I actually used them for so long that the majority of my underarm sweat glands shrunk to the point of not releasing sweat. But everywhere else was terrible. I have been using Mitchum stick antiperspirant on my shoulders & traps. This medication works fast so it couldbe ggreat for weddings, public appearances, etc...

Hey man, still on running this? How's it working for you? Did you eventually had to up the dose?

I also suffer from hyperhidrosis since well, ever (even as a baby), and it's really insane the amount of sweat.

But since I started on juice it's been far, FAR worse. It literally looks like I took a full body shower!
If I lower my head, I can see the water falling from my head like an waterfall, it's rediculous.
My wallet and my phone are always dripping wet as they are in my pants pocket.

It doesn't stink, it simply has no smell, simply water... My body temp is through the roof.

I'm always thirsty, I drink 6L of water a day, there was a time it was 10L.

My gf has also a high body temp and sometimes, when she touches me it takes everything in me to not push her away, the agony is really uncomfortable!

After abusing opiates, and then alternating between TRT and mild cycles, my sweating went from below average to "turn on the heat and I'll fill up your kiddie pool" so I find this helpful.

For me, my body Temp is never dangerously high when I've tested, so I think it's an overreaction more than legitimate homeostasis

Yes, I still use it. Just make sure it's taken on a completely empty stomach 1.5 hours or so before eating. Water and other fluids are fine. Not protein shakes. One thing is - it will make your mouth dry as Hell. I recommend chewing gum to avoid this. BTW, many insurance companies won't cover it even though it is used for Irritable Bowel Syndrome & certain types of ulcers. With GoodRx I pay 30 to $35.

Again, I would caution again natural processes of sweating. "Medical Science" would disagree and claim that Sweating is not a high level cleansing function of the body. NOTICE there are no conclusive or even REAL correctly qualified studies regarding use of antiperspirants correlate with diseases like BREAST CANCER, Blood disorders, Metabolic disorders, and more.

THERE ARE however pretty good studies about SODIUM and its NEW ANALOGS and how they CAUSE DISEASE. It should be noted at this time that SODIUM BASED FLUID RETENTION causes physiological conditions similar to use of antiperspirants. Aka - FLUID RETENTION ='s LESS SWEAT...

On the other hand if your elders suffered the same conditions, you may consider their paths to the other side. As perhaps if they are dehydration related, this may create a benefit healthwise... But I would think if your family line lives a fairly long and healthy life - YOU MIGHT BE PLAYING WITH FIRE...

Just food for thought..:)

Hyperhidrosis is generally a genetic condition. My mean body temperature is actually 1 to .5 degrees Fahrenheit below the 98.6 degrees that is recognized as normal. This is is a genetic disorder in my family. You may be surprised how much potassium & water I consume. This is like your body producing excessive sebum/oil, causing acne. The only side effect I've had is a dry mouth as Robinul Forte also lessens saliva secretions. Don't over-think this.
