What's up guys!?
So, here we are.... Again! Time to cut up for the summer.. As many of you know, I brought in @ChestRockwell to assist me/coach me throughout this cutting/dieting down process. I wanted to try something new, with new perspectives, ideas and methods... I knew Chest was the man for this, as he definitely does things differently than I have in the past, but has solid experience and knowledge to back up his methods.
This will be a dietary/fat loss phase, followed by a cruise then a growth phase later down the road. The "goals" here are solely aesthetic. I want to harden up, get grainy & veiny and rock that "dick skin" look for a while...
Drugs are very, very mild for me.... Honestly, mild enough that I was worried... But, I have faith in this process and Chest, so, I am giving it 110% and not looking back. Here's the cycle, for NOW... Things WILL change, but this is what it looks like in the beginning:
Test Prop: 500mg's/ week
Tren ace: 350mg's/week (this was that one that seemed LOW for me... But, I have faith and there's always time to adjust if we need to)
Mast prop: 700mg's/week (I like this, a lot. Masteron is probably my favorite drug besides anadrol)
GH: 4iu/ day (Yes, just 4iu... Big drop from my blast of like 18iu/day)
T3: 50mcg's/day
T4: 100mcg's/day
Now, as far as GH and thyroid drug timing, I won't get into specifics as Chest wants to keep this particular method between us...I get it, it's the secret sauce, it's what has worked for clients past... Sorry, I would tell you guys more if I hadn't promised Chest otherwise.
Diet is largely macro based, but I am going to follow what has worked well with me in the past and also use nutrient timing to my advantage... Carbs will be centered around the lifts... It just keeps my full and pumped even on a deficit. Right now we're doing 300P, 225C and 80F. I will be allowed a BIT of flexibility, as far as "cheats" or "higher nutrient" days are concerned. I'll give more info on this if Chest is open to discussing it... It was a somewhat unique method of doing it, so, I'd rather not go into detail unless he is comfortable with it.
This is new for me, in many ways. Firstly, the low drugs... I mean, why not? Can't hurt to try something at a lower-than-normal (for me) level and see where it goes! Shit, we'd all prefer to get more out of less, right? Also, the overall lack of transparency that I can share with you guys is weird, for me. Since day 1 I have been 100% transparent and open about every detail of my training, diet and pretty much everything else. Keeping cards close to my chest, so to speak, is a bit unusual for me. But, it's out of respect for Chest, as this is how he can justify charging folks... His methods work, and it's worth paying for (presumably).
Starting this around 230lbs, around 13%bf according to calipers... Most of my fatty tissue is stored in the lower abdomen and a bit on the lower back area...
Training will be John Meadows Gauntlet program. The high volume and intensity just seemed like a good fit. Chest OK'd the usage of his weight lifting program, and Chest will be doing the cardio protocol.
Guys, let me know what other things I can add to this to make it interesting, and feel free to ask away. Obviously I'll answer anything I can, and try to update you guys as much as I can on progress.
