What’s up brothers of Meso!

I’m starting this log mainly for accountability and as a place to track my progress week by week. Posting here keeps me honest and gives me a clear picture of how far I’ve come.

I’ve been lifting on and off for the last 15 years. Between school and having kids young, there were stretches where I took close to a year off, but I always found my way back into the gym.



Here’s a shot of me natty around 26:

Over the last 2 years, I let myself go. Got into a new relationship, got comfortable, and didn’t prioritize training. On top of that, I felt terrible after workouts, libido tanked, and my mood was off for no clear reason. I thought it was depression at first and even tried meds, they helped a bit, but libido stayed an issue.

I ended up starting TRT in March, and almost instantly my libido came back and I had the energy to crush sessions again (probably some placebo at first). Here’s me before TRT:

And here’s me 8 weeks on 150mg test cyp per week:

In July, I bumped up to 250mg/week. Recently, I also linked up with a coach (won’t tag until he gives the green light). We started working together 9/5 and I’m grateful — he knows his stuff.

Alright, with that out of the way, here are the current details:

Stats
Age: 33
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 196.4lb this am fasted(down from 200 9/1)
Body fat%: ~15% (guess)

Starting compounds as of 9/5
Test Cyp: 400mg/week
HGH: 4iu daily

Support supps/pharma:
Omega-3 Fish Oil: 6-7g EPA and DHA day
Vitamin D: 10000iu per day AM
Magnesium glycinate 400mg PM
CoQ10 (200mg) AM
Vitamin k2 (400 mcg) AM
Astragalus 4000mg AM NAC 1800-2000mg AM
Vitamin C (1000mg AM)
Glutamine 15g morning on empty stomach
Potassium 1000mg Post workout
Milk Thistle 2000mg PM
Berberine 500mg 3 times a day with meals
Pitavistatin 2mg PM
Cialis 5mg AM

Training split
Sunday: Legs quad focused
Monday: off
Tuesday: Shoulder/tris
Wednesday: Legs ham focused
Thursday: Back
Friday: Chest/bi
Saturday: Off
Cardio 5 times a week 15 minutes LISS

Macros:
Training days: 219P/391C/56F
Non training days: 220P/250C/60F

Update Schedule:
Plan is to update Sundays or Mondays with pics and any changes my coach makes.

Also forgot to mention. The immediate goal right now is to get me leaner and then pivot to a growth phase.
 
1st week check in.

Happy with the decrease in weight. No changes to cardio or diet. Sticking with exact plan for another week to see if I can get some more weight off.

Pictures will now be taken in a dark setting with flash on moving forward.

Week 2

Weight: 200.2 fasted

Up 3.6 lbs…

Maybe holding on to more water from GH or the increased test? I do feel a little swollen in the hands when I slowly make a fist.

Pics were taken Friday 9/19 since I am on my way to work now and wouldn’t have time for fasted pics this am.

Will update any changes coach makes tomorrow

Changes based off week 2 check in

Decreasing carbs
New totals:
Training days P219/C357/F55 total cal 2816
Non training P220/C250/F60 total cal 2300

Increasing cardio from 15 min to 25 min x5 a week

Also noticing a little bit of bloat/fullness sometimes during training sessions. Will be switching out Karbolyn for HBCD to see my response.

PEDS and training stay the same
TC 400/wk
GH 4iu daily

The grind continues …
 
Week 3

Weight: 200.4 fasted

I’m definitely holding on to more water especially in abdominal area. Pics taken today were sort of a let down for me but not going to let it derail me. Sending pics over today and also my feedback. Will see what changes will be made going forward. Might have to get labs checked a bit earlier then expected to see where E2 is at.

Thanks brother! Yeah goal is to keep bpm <130. Doing incline tread or cycling. It’s still a drag for me though lol.

Started reading “Muscle” by Samuel Wilson Fussell, which does make the time go by faster while doing cardio.

I get on the bike and watch yt shorts and its over before i know it lol

You looked better as a 26y natty, than many do on gear. I expect great things to come.

I had to be nitpicky, I would say the calves surely could be a bit bigger. You do't look like someone that can't grow them. ;)

Haha you got me in the calves. I’m loling right now because I neglected them for years. I’ll make you proud though!
 
Nah no dexa yet, definitely will look into prices in my area!
Lots of mobile companies doing them now out of RVs and vans, same GE machine. NomadFit, DexaScan, BodySpec...should be able to find one if you're anywhere near a metro area for $40-50. Not shilling any particular company, I just found the data extremely useful for adjusting specific goals. I put off getting one for years because they were so damn expensive.

Feeling less bloat finally! However, weight didn’t budge much this week again. I definitely FEEL leaner despite the scale.

On another note, I start school again on Monday to finish my NP. I might switch up my training days to be M-F and take the full weekend to rest and catch up on my studies.

Got a tripod for this weeks pics. It’s a no brainer I don’t know how to pose!
