Cycle Plan for Fat Loss (Feedback Request)

I’m planning a fat loss-focused cycle. My goal is to drop ~10kg of fat. Below is my planned compound list, dosages, and reasoning.

I am 32 YO and currently weigh 225lb. Goal weight is <200lbs. I have lost roughly 75 lbs primarily since starting Tirz, along with dieting and exercise.

I'll be honest, I am not much of a gym go-er. I'll aim at a minimum of swimming 2x a week and lifting 1x a week. I have a very clean diet and I am in a calorie deficit.

I have had very successful Tesamorelin cycles which have gotten my IGF up to 467 on 2mg daily. I have a naturally high IGF baseline at 243. HGH is new for me and I am hoping it can help with increased fat loss.

Hormonal Compounds (Testosterone)

CompoundDosagePurpose
Testosterone Enanthate150mg/week (3x per week injections)I am on TRT. 150mg/week gets me at 800-1000 TT.
Natesto (Nasal Gel Testosterone)PRN for pre-workout and post-workout (3x a week) - adds about 11mg of testosterone base, so perhaps 33mg additional a weekTRT+

Peptides & Growth Factors

CompoundDosagePurpose
HGH (Human Growth Hormone)2-4 IU/day (all in the AM)Fat loss, muscle preservation, IGF-1 boost
GLOW Protocol (GKH, BPC, TB500)3mg dailyOverall tissue repair, aid muscle recovery, skin health

Fat Loss Enhancers

CompoundDosagePurpose
RetatrutideCurrently on 15mg/weekStrongest GLP-1/GIP agonist for appetite suppression & fat loss
L-Carnitine600mg daily injectionAid with fat loss

Support & Health

CompoundDosagePurpose
Tadalafil (Cialis)2.5mg nightlyImproves blood flow, combats potential ED from low estrogen
Jardiance25mg dailySLGT2i - cardio and renal protection, urinate 200-400 calories a day, help with insulin sensitivity
Metformin ER1000mghelp with insulin resistance

Cycle Length & Structure

  • Weeks 1-4: HGH 2IU in the AM (+ all other compounds)
  • Weeks 5-8: HGH 3IU in the AM (+ all other compounds)
  • Weeks 9+: HGH 4IU in the AM (+ all other compounds)

❓Questions for the Forum

  1. Would you keep Test E at 150mg/week or go up?
  2. Thoughts on HGH dosing?
  3. Thoughts on L-Carnitine dosing?
  4. Any suggested adjustments or additions?
Appreciate any feedback! I'm looking to optimize this for maximum fat loss; I could care less about muscle loss.

Hmm. You say you really only care about fat loss, don’t really care about muscle loss. I dont know why you feel that way, because it doesn’t have to be one or the other. If you’re taking androgens anyway you can absolutely save the muscle… but in any event, no I wouldn’t up the test if you don’t care anything about muscle loss. Adding in more test isn’t gonna accelerate fat loss beyond that of what a therapeutic dose will. And that’s really only if you’re hypogonadal or have shit your balls down from running cycles and never recovered your levels. For someone who doesn’t make enough testosterone, test will help with fat loss, not because testosterone inherently helps shed fat, but low testosterone makes it harder to lose fat. So, if you are sticking with the statement that you don’t care anything about muscle loss—no, no need to up the test e dose. Keep it where it is because a) there will be no benefit according to your goal if you up it and b) upping it will only increase sides, water retention (not as bad with test e as test c but it does happen), etc.

Thoughts on HGH dosing…
Well… have you ran hgh before, did you say? If not, couple things to consider… 1) do you have any idea what your natural production is? 2) is there a reason you’ve settled on those doses? Seems a little high to me to start out with, if you’ve never used it before and don’t have any actual medical need for hgh. And if you aren’t trying to achieve other hgh goals other than fat loss, I suspect you may end up being disappointed.

You’re adding metformin, and you said you’ve been on tirz with what sounds like great success. But now you are gonna use Reta. Reta is a superior compound to tirz in my opinion, in general, but the actual appetite suppression is probably gonna be stronger with tirz. I use Reta myself and I do so for many many reasons. But if the only thing you want is—or rather, your top priority is—appetite suppression, you’re probably gonna once again be disappointed with Reta. Reta is strange because it’s like, I’m still hungry, it’s not appetite suppression like I had on Semaglutide…it’s just that feeling of hunger doesn’t drive me to go raid the kitchen cabinets. You still gotta have some self control. It’s not gonna just kill your appetite like Sema or tirz. But it is the superior compound. And you likely won’t need the metformin if you are on Reta, however, if you are using hgh, maybe you will.

Honestly, im not trying to be a dick cuz I’m right there with you, wanting to cheat code my way to fat loss, but my advice would be:

1. Add in the Reta, give it a full month before you make a decision once you start it. If you need more suppression, back to tirz or sema.

2. Forget the HGH. You’re not trying to bodybuild. You’re not competing. It’s not worth it for you. The risk v reward is too out of proportion. And it’s likely not gonna have a very positive effect with the amount of time you spend exercising which, according to you, isn’t very much.

3. Keep test e at 150 if all you care about is maintaining normal test levels. And even if you decide you wanna hold onto muscle better or build more muscle, I wouldn’t go over 200 for long term. 200 is pushing it for 365 days a year. I’ve done that and a lot of guys have done that cuz that’s what a lot of clinics start you on. But u was in the gym on the leg press (not even doing it cuz I felt so shitty) and felt like I was going to die and ended up texting a buddy in ems, he hooked me up to the leads and said I needed to go to the hospital. I said my wife will take me, he said no you need to go now and we need to take you so we can start giving you nitros and monitor you (nearest hospital 30 min away). Lipids were wrecked, bp ungodly high, experiencing afib. Some guys can get away with running 200 for 3 years straight. I could not. Lmao but even if I could, 200 was supraphysiological and according to your goals, that isn’t necessary for you.

4. I really think HGH is a bad idea haha

5. Don’t do HGH

6. Forget the HGH

7. If you want to accelerate fat loss, use the glps, take your therapeutic test dose, and bust ass in the gym. You need to get in the gym more, or exercise more in any event. Burn more calories. That is the answer. Without doing that, HGH and higher test isn’t going to help you anyway. And you’re gonna see less dramatic fat loss on Reta than on tirz at this point in your weight loss journey, I would guess. Though I maintain that Reta is better for overall health and the studies show better for fat loss, but not necessarily through appetite suppression alone and if you’ve already lost 75lbs or 80 or whatever it was, it’s gonna start getting harder to lose than what it has been.

Thanks for this thoughtful response. A couple of things:

1. I am hypogonadal and been on TRT for quiet some time.
2. I've been in the clinical trial for Reta and dropped out recently due to the time commitment. I've been on 12mg/week for the past 8 months .
3. HGH natural production is 243. Very high. When I did a Tesamorelin cycle, I got up to the 470s and it essentially eliminated all my visceral fat. I was hoping that trying out HGH could help with other types of fat.

I posted this form on Reddit and I got a lot of humbling advice. My mindset is WRONG. I am focusing too much on meds and not about the basics -- which is getting my ass back in the gym. That being said, I am not going to hyperfixate on what I can change/add/optimize in my regime, but focus on building muscle. I am so close with hitting goal weight and doing body recomposition through muscle gains will only get me there faster.

Again, thanks for your reply!

You wouldnt need most of the drugs. 25lbs isnt that much and shouldnt be difficult and your chatgpt description clearly shows that you just threw stuff together you think might make it quick and easy.

Stay with your TRT dosage, add Tirza or Retra, 3iu of GH and thats it. The Tirza and Retra should easily handle the glucose issues you think you might get from that GH.

Unless youre Diabetic i would just stick to a bit of Metformin and deploy Jardiance only when really necessary. Jardiance wont do much if you still dont eat properly.

You dropped out of the study when you were gonna get free Reta for 3 years. That makes me sad haha
