Well my son has played baseball since he was 4 and over the last 8 years I have yet to encounter the ridiculousness we were involved in last week. We haven't play rec league ball for the last several years but I figured this fall what the heck play with his cousin and friends and get some extra reps and cardio. Huge mistake on my part. The game last week ended in a big ole brawl on the field after our assistant coach shoved the umpire and then as our head coach approached in a very aggressive manner he caught a right hook from the ump. I have never been more embarrassed for our kids or to have people like that represent our community. It's a sad day when glorified scrimmage leads to grown men coming to blows.
