Fair enough. Glad you are here to learn and grow. This place has helped me immensely. My advice, start by familiarizing yourself for the culture of the bodybuilding community. If being called a fucker offends you, this may be a difficult and challenging transition for you. We are not a politically correct group and for the most part, we give people shit (in good humor and spirit.) Good luck friend.
 
Looking to hear some opinions and experiences on this.

I’ve had good results running lower doses of NPP (150 mg per week), but I haven’t noticed the joint pain relief that a lot of people talk about. I went with NPP originally because of its fast clearance, just in case I had any mental or sexual side effects—but after two rounds with no issues, I’m considering other options.

I’ve read that Deca might be better for joint relief. At 50, that extra help with joint pain would be a big plus.

What’s your take on this? Is there any real benefit to switching esters aside from the dosing schedule?


I don’t get NPP joint relief until 350 per week. With deca it takes longer but I get it at 150-200.
 
I said this in another thread, but I specifically chose Deca over NPP because I’ve seen too many anecdotes from people saying the joint relief is better on Deca.

The results have been nothing short of miraculous for me. I went from being in pain when training to throwing up the weights like it’s nothing again. I literally have a bone spur in my left shoulder shown by an MRI & xray and it’s not bothering me that much anymore, thanks to deca. I also threw in 12.5mg Anavar per day and the effects are even greater.

I havent ran deca, but I have ran NPP pretty high.
I was pushing pretty hard at the time in the gym for max strength, just stupid shit, heavy single arm back & chest movements, I had no idea the relief the NPP was giving me until the minute I came off. Joints were on fucking FIRE.
I was running 700mg/wk at the time. Stuff was going up weekly, every week. During a time I was able and had the time to eat the fridge and everything else lol

No. Npp you could pin twice a week and be fine. Type-IIx just had a q&a about this that the phenylprop ester is closer to enanthate than prop
 
@Type-IIx confirm this? I was always under thr impression with NPP you had to do minimum EOD, but twice a week???
Eod is the easiest. Twice a week leaves you a in deeper valleys. I’m pinning 50mg test p and 50mg NPP mixed in the sane syringe everyday right now to cut down on pip from the test p and it’s been a breeze. Results are what I expected to see when I was on a eod pinning schedule.
 
I felt a big different between npp and deca:
Deca: bad mood,no drive,deca dick,depressed.
Npp complytely different: good mood,no dick problems,no depression,better gains.

Damnnnnnit. NPP seems to have GREAT growth for me. I feel like my shoulders traps and back just pop. But I don't think it does shit for my joints and I could really benefit from that.
 
Try NPP and next time try deca. We are uniquely biological so YMMV
NPP won for me years back doing just that.

My best gains came from 3 24 weeks cycle that included NPP.

Powerlifter that stayed lean until I got to about 235, by time I got to 285 plus I did look a lot more wet.

Typical old school powerlifter, big everything but chest. Funny as shit because I had legs, back, arms and traps people wanted but the chest of same lol.
 
I just came across this post—how are you finding it, OP? I added it about a week ago, and I’m loving how it has filled me out and made me look more round! However, I've been experiencing some discomfort in my elbows. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Nandrolone certainly helps with achy and dry joints but it does shit all nothing for tendon pain and discomfort and the sudden increase in strength I get from nandrolone always follows with tendon inflammation in my elbows. Don’t be stupid and you’ll work through it just fine keep pushing it and pushing it and you’ll fight tendonitis post blast/cycle for what could be months.

I definitely plan to stick to a low-dose, safer protocol. It seems like I’m experiencing some tendon issues and flare-ups, but it’s nothing I haven’t dealt with before.

As you pointed out, there are definitely ways to manage and work around the pain.
 
NPP is best to use for your first run to see if you respond well to the drug, otherwise longer esters/Deca are king.

I personally like to swap Deca w/ NPP at the end of a cycle, so I can control the taper as I transition into a cruise and can drop the Nandrolone on command; this is one of my favorite uses of short esters.
