Those 6lbs plus the weight added on after weigh ins. Oscar will have his work cut out for him. Do I think Oscar can pull it off, probably not. Oscar isn't dedicating himself just to boxing. He's got to much other crap going on. I'm not a big Oscar fan, but Hopkins just hasn't shown me anything spectacular. One reason not enough good fighters around his weight to really show what he got. I guess what I'm trying to say is Hopkins is good but he could be better, and that to me seperates a champion.

I guess then that is where we disagree, because I dont think fighters come much better then hopkins. He totally dominated trinidad in a way no one thought possible, has had 17 sucessful title defences which he broke the record for at 15. Did you see what he did to joppy last time? there aren't any superstars in his division but I think its up to mosely,dlh,vargas,and wright to challenge hopkins and move up because hopkins is willing to fight anyone. I see your point, I just don't agree with it.

What the hell happend to my post?About Tito's retirement, it was all about trying to get away from King. And the comment you made about King BUYING alot of Trinidads fights how can you say that, he knocked almost eveyone he fought out. He moved up in weight to quick when he fought Hopkins he got caught up in the Ray Robinson crap they were throwing around. ...11

Let me try this again.......... Trinidad was trying to break his contract with King, that why he " retired ". And as far as King BUYING fights for Trin. he knocked most everybody he fought out. Tito moved up to Middleweight to quickly IMO I belive the Hopkins fight might have been different if that fight would have been a year later?........11

After Hopkins beat the crap out of Trinidad. Trinidad didn't give anyone else a chance to beat the crap out of him. If your basing Hopkins on the Trinidad fight, thats where I have to say Trinidad wasn't a great fighter,and there not much to prove. Trinidads chin was weak. Trinidad got dropped in a lot of his fights. As for Joppy, like I said before boxing is a matter of styles, Joppy's style was made for Hopkins. As for Moseley, Vargas, and Oscar. Those fighters are too small to go up against Hopkins. I'm glad to see a boxing fan that I can talk to.

yea, I always knew hopkins was good, but I thought he was great after the tito fight. yes, trinidad was dropped in other fights but he was never seriously hurt, and it wasnt like hopkins beat him with a lucky KO because tito had a weak chin, he systematically beat the piss out of him for 12 rounds then closed the show. after that tito fought once more then retired, now hes coming back to fight the winner of mosely-wright. good chance of an upset there IMO.
