Developed sudden nocturia EVERY SINGLE NIGHT

I began my first contest prep a few weeks ago and I have nocturia every single night now. I don't think it's a drug thing as I am only on testosterone at roughly 200mg level and Anavar at 20mg pre workout (have uses this before - same batch of drugs and nocturia didn't happen) and have been for years.

The only supplement that I have added is l-carnitine at 2g per day and CLAs based on the guidelines of the coach who is helping me. I've used creatine for years along with tadalafil at 5mg per day for years and years.

My diet changed radically and I am eating about 250-300g protein, 250-300g carb, 50g of fat depending on the day. I don't really think I'm drinking all that much more water I was was living a gym lifestyle before but not this rigid. I'm pissing 4 times a night and again upon waking. Real amounts of piss not just a touch. It's affecting my sleep obviously and causing a bit of worry.

My blood pressure is 120/66 I just took it this mng and it's near that every day.

My initial assumptions were that my kidneys perhaps can't handle the higher protein and much higher volume workouts? I've had cystatin c bloodwork and my kidney function is perfect on that metric. I have been using more salt but I'm sure that I need it given my workout demands. I'm waking up 3-4 pounds lighter from the previous night from all the possible ng and I'm sub 200 pounds. Any thoughts on this?

How’s your sodium intake?

That's one thing that has changed. I'm eating 5 meals per day and salting all of them in addition to 2 meals with whey powder that have sodium. I'm hopeful that could be it but nothing shows up in blood pressure.

its a part of being low carb and dieting, you piss like a racehorse. I find masteron exacerbate this even more.

check your sodium, potassium and water intake too, you could also use glycerol to hold more to water, helps with the pump too.

Other than that, you have medications like mirabegron.

I'm in a surplus though and eating 300g of carbs. I don't really understand it. I went to bed last night at 191 and woke up 186. I pissed 5 times and didn't sweat.

High training volume can overstrain your pelvic floor muscles, leading to night time urinary issues. Check if issues get better if you take a few days rest while still on same gear.

Thought I would update this. I'm convinced this was entirely related to my contest prep diet. Something to do with glycogen storage/carbohydrate/water etc. Once the contest was over I started eating normally again in a surplus with no restrictions and everything returned to normal. Some nights I don't even wake up to piss anymore. It's amazing the difference. All the urinating was irritating my prostate to the point I was having problems and now I'm back to normal. Crazy.
