DHT-based steroids list

Since ultrasound shows I have an enlarged prostate, I'd better stop all DHT-derived steroids

So I decided to take a look at their molecular structure and find out which ones are truly DHT-derived.

This is Testosterone:

5-AR enzyme converts it to DHT. Please note it no longer has the double bond on the lower end that Testosterone has:

Drostanolone (Masteron) doesn't have that double bond either, so it's DHT-derived

And so is Methenolone (Primo)

So is Oxandrolone (Anavar) but it has an Oxygen atom within the ring, who knows if it makes it behave less DHT-like.

Mesterolone (Proviron) structure is very DHT-like

Trenbolone has that lower double bond so it's not DHT-derived

Neither is Boldenone (EQ)

Nor Nandrolone is (Deca, NPP)

Stanozolol (Winny) doesn't have that double bond (the image is upside down) so it might well be DHT-derived, but it also has an additional ring containing two Nitrogen atoms, which can alter it's DHT-like behavior.

Interestingly, Oxymetholone (Anadrol) doesn't have that double bond, so it might be DHT-derived

Surprisingly, Fluoxymesterone (Halo) is not DHT-derived

As expected, Methandrostenolone (Dianabol) is not DHT-derived

As expected 1-Testosterone, DHB, Dihydroboldenone is DHT-derived, as the name implies

Trestolone (MENT) is not

4-chlorodehydromethyltestosterone (Oral Turinabol) is NOT DHT-derived.
This may sound confusing but it says 4-dEhydro, not dIhydro, meaning it has another double bond in another place in the ring.
OTOH it has a Chlorine atom that might interfere with its non-DHT like behavior.

Anadrol converts to methyldht you’re not solving anything by comparing these structure with no metabolites
 
Besides, don’t we already know which are dht derivatives and not? This has been known so I don’t know why you’re stating “truly dht derived.” Halo isn’t dht derived and it’s seriously androgenic along with trenbolone.

Hell deca is low androgenic but taking it in any sort of bodybuilding dose is think is sure to Cause prostate stimulation. In this case I’d assume anyone’s best bet is to stick to low dose testosterone and use dht blocking drugs who knows maybe even saw palmetto, and block the 5ar enzyme. But I’m not scientist just my opinion

On top of that anavar is dht derived and and women take it because of low androgenic effects. So dht derived i think is oversimplifying it.
