Many people do not understand " He came not to abolish the law but to fulfill it" ( I paraphrase a little) What

Jesus was bringing was the Holy Spirit. The same as The Spirit of the Law. WE can leave out Holy for this.

My example some posts back points to Gal 5: 22-23 ( stop there to leave Jesus out) There are laws but to up hold them as they are meant means going beyond, hence the Spirit. IE: A judge can take a contract that is one sided and denounce the written contraction of the law by deeming it was a violation of the spirit of the contract.

Again to fulfill the law is to bring the Spirit of the Golden rule " do unto others ......." .
As I stated all the spiritual principals are derived from a few basic ...

Look at 18, be honest not a fukhead, easy to read what the scripture says and means.

Ya know it is hard to discus some of this on this format. I believe as you guys are saying we've taken this out of the boundaries and scope of the thread. I may be guilty of opening the door.

I think we need to just let it go , for the forum's and OP's sake of this was not his agenda. Again I may has mistaken the tread and opened the door. Not an excuse to back out but as you guys allude to this anyway.

So in conclusion let me make a few more statements in attempt to have you understand what I was getting at in my last post in regard to principals ( Spiritual ) etc that you accuse me of twisting the Words of the Bible...Let me try here.....

I don't understand why or how I am twisting the scripture. Since there is so many people that do not believe the scriptures and the Gospel about Jesus I tried to just go along with that and ( as I believe now) you can use the book as a book that teaches us how to live by principal and that being above all law. Leaving out the Jesus story and who or what about him but what He did, and the books being just examples of good Principals. ... Oh boy !

That given was my intended purpose. So with that given I and confused as to your accusations of what I said. I am being honest here. AS l used to teach scripture in the jails and having been in jail a few very short stents I found that so many could not grasp the story and or believe in the Jesus so I was more successful teaching the book as Principals above the law. Hence why we should follow the law and act above to the principals. That's where I was coming from especially with that post so I don't believe I twisted anything.

I might add this is why I no longer go in and give studies. My leaving out the thorough Christian beliefs comes off very wrong being in this position wit a Holy Bible study.

Also the relevancy of the Old Tes.... because I stopped believing in some of these stories of the Big people, Giants if you will, and other very unbelievable stories. Therefore my wanting you to leave out the Old Tes... is the fact that I think it is not very meaningful as it is what they say this is how it was and so for my purpose of the bringing of the teaching of living by Principal who cares about the old story whether it true of false. Even though you can bridge the old with the New in some places as I have done and studied I also believe in many cases it is what you or anyone want to make it sound and be what you want it to be / mean.
