Diet Help....Need Some Advice Guys...

I don’t do well on low carb at all. What’s crazy is most women that I know, my wife included seem to be fine on low/no carb diets. You don’t have to go crazy with carbs but try a more well balanced approach.
aren't you a fan of super high protein? if I was dieting hard, I would get as much protein as possible to maintain mass and stay full. The reason I like low carb, if your eating a shit load of protein, you cant go close to 0 fat, some fat is needed, id say the bare minimum 30-40 grams.

But when filling the rest of the diet (say he is on 2k calories, pretty low IMO but if that is what he Is doing), as much protein as possible, no less than 30g fat, which leaves carbs as the macro that is missing.

Would suck but IMO would be the fastest way to lose fat, get the protein high. And also have to get veggies so id say under 50g carb is not realistic so im not a fan of 0 carb. Just high protein for satiety and to retain muscle if he is dieting hard. But will probably lead to lethargy so id def have higher carbs on at least 1, maybe 2 days. But agree what matters is total calories

What are you talking about? I can go damn near zero fat on high protein. I don’t go zero fat but I have close to the end of a diet. Liquid egg whites zero fat, my iso protein zero fat, 8oz of tilapia 5 grams of fat, 8oz chicken breast 6 grams of fat.
My fat today was 15grams. My fat yesterday was 10grams.with no actual effort. I had 300 grams of protein.
Where did you come up with 30 grams of fat?

I have no experience doing fat that low, but have inquired on forums how low is too low, and was told 30-40. These guys were competitors not dadbods, it was on a forum that used to be run by the guy who wrote the HGH article that is always posted (chest Rockwell). No experience but these guys knew their shit and said 30 or so was the lowest so I never attempted to go lower.

30-40 for someone natural I can see. For hormonal function but guys on anabolics I think can go pretty low. You’re also injecting oil I have to believe it gets used and dispersed somehow.

for someone dieting hard on say 2k calories, what diet would you run? id assume as much protein as possible, trace fats, say 100-200 g total pre and post workout?

and if they transitioned to bulking, up the protein and carbs both?

It’s all calories and protein. Carbs and fats don’t matter. It’s whatever is sustainable. I just by chance eat lower fat most of the time because of the food I want at the time

fair enough. the only downside protein is fucking expensive, but does keep the appetite at bay. iv been eating the egg whites and chicken breast on PSMF days, gotta add some ketchup or eat a tomato after for my stomach to feel settled after eating a 400 calories of egg wihites.

You can't sustain a very low carb diet for very long at all without feeling like shit mentally, and physically. There is no need to either. If you're eating that low of carbs, which you should never be that low on carbs, then you should add some healthy fats. Have you tried carb cycling? Much better option, you'll still get shredded, and you'll feel a whole lot better doing it.

Yes, done it several times. It was just an experiment this time.

I did a really stupid thing.

...But first, I want to say I appreciate beyond measure the knowledge that you guys give me on a daily basis. Love it. This board is my favorite board.

So, I wanted to try something different, as I am always trying new things, and I decided to try a full keto diet along with some Test and Tren. For the past 4 months, I have strictly followed a below 20 gram carb diet daily. No exceptions, no cheat days. Protein has been very high.

I have never felt so run down in my life. I literally would fall asleep at work (thankfully I have a job where I am traveling and can do this without getting caught). I barely have the energy to get a workout done. BUT, my bodyfat has been melting off me like never before.

For lunch today, I decided to have 2 yams with butter along with my ground beef and onion concoction. I came off my keto diet. I had insane energy! Whereas before I would have been so lethargic in the afternoon, I was able to power through the day with energy.

I need some MesoRX Veteran help. How can I incorporate just enough carbs so that I don't gain back the bodyfat I've lost in the past 6 months, but still have that carb energy boost?

I guess what I'm asking for is some dieting advice. I am humble enough to admit that not all of my experimentation works.
U need a coach man

Then it doesn’t sound like it’s a good diet for you. There’s no reason to suffer
NLM!!! What did you do to me bro?! Holy shit...I am puffing up big time....cannot believe that just 4 days of carbs are having me retain this water. I lost my abs in literally 4 days

Are your calories the same?
Exactly.
Were you eating within your calorie maintenance or pigging out on McDonald’s and Dairy Queen?

Ngl though one night last week I had a 20 batch of chocolate chip cookies from McDonald’s. Shit was heaven in my mouth. Woke up lighter and dry though, resumed my diet the rest of the week but with more carbs added in.

Hell no. I haven't eaten fast food in 10 years. All of my food is home cooked, placed in Tupperware, or from a can (chicken or salmon).
