Dipping my toes in the home brew pool. Couple of newb questions.

Nope what? You disagree that's fine, but it don't change the fact I run 100mls through per filter and have done so for years with zero issues.

Also 2/20 is so outdated bro, oils only need 1%ba and most injects do just fine with 10-15%bb. Why use more bb if not necessary is all I'm saying.
He will try it himself i guess and I hope he reports back.

I’ve seen a lot of 18/2 lately

Do you filter when oil is warm? I do and I use mct and it flows real good the whole 60ml and the next 40ml or so goes slower, but still comes out just as clean.
Yea always warm but I use gso big difference from mct. Mct is like water haha. Most manufacturer spec is 100ml on 22s but thats not a number I really wanna push haha

I brewed with gso for over 10 years and mct is so much better imho. And if the recommendation is 100mls then they can do more lol kinda like an elevator says 1200kg, but can easily handle 1400kg. You know what I'm getting at here right :)

I just cant use mct cause it hurts me badly and yes I have narrowed it down. I work as a mechanic/electrician so I know an eleavator will have its longest healthiest life operating at less than capacity. I mean people are free to do as they please but i apply the same logic to filters, any all equipment really.

But your filters don't last longer with less use lol ;)

My point is they will do a better job at flowing and filtering at lower capacity. So if expending x amount of effort with a new filter and after 40-60ml i have to spend 2-3x that much effort it becomes worth it for me to change it. There isnt anything more to it. If I wanna spend the money to do that thats my choice plus filters are super cheap anyways
